So my Dad paid for driving lessons for my birthday, and he wanted me to have a woman instructor, he said because I wanted it or would prefer it, when I had never stated such preference (funny when men confirm things about other men and are mistrustful of them). Thinking about it, I would prefer a woman anyway.

Booked with a lady, but she wasn't available for 5 months, so if I wanted someone sooner, she asked about my availability etc and I replied, then she automatically gave my details to a male instructor (without telling me first).

My Dad said contact the lady and ask if she has any female instructors available soon. I'm kind of annoyed he is so insistent on a female instructor, I want to learn asap as I already put it off for 3 days, and feel kinda bad asking the lady if there are any lady instructors available soon, but I do want to support women and I would prefer a woman.

So what do you ladies think I should do?

Sorry this is so random but I really wanted to ask women like you all what I should do and this post reminded me.
