Watch out for this in the office, too. Weaponized incompetence isn't limited to the home!

Also, at both home and work, do not volunteer for things willy nilly or unnecessary help. Early in my career, I learned the hard way that it's better to just focus on your own tasks and let your teammates drown if it could risk your work in any way.

Ah yes, more evidence that they know exactly what they're doing. My brother did this exact same thing growing up, and got away with it entirely. He would break equipment purposefully so he didn't have to do outside work... and it worked. My father got so tired of spending the time and money on repairs that guess what? Brother was no longer 'allowed' to operate equipment outside.

Inside? Broke the vacuum by trying to vaccum up things that shouldn't be, never cleaned dishes properly, always "forgot" to scrub toilets the right way. Sometimes he just straight up didn't do it, and managed to get away with it. He continued doing this into his marriage, and surprise surprise: divorce is in the works. He did many many other LV things along the way, but now he is getting his.

These men know exactly what they are doing, and they will keep doing it until women walk away and they are left in their own filth of incompetence.
