There is no such things as a rApE cUltUrE. It's a crime that a selected, twisted few do, and if it's a few... how can you possibly call it a culture? I'm not reinforcing it. My friend group and everyone I know does not reinforce it. We are repulsed and immediately distanced ourselves from people who we know do such things.

And keep in mind, women uphold those system too. Ask 100 women if they are willing to work on an oil rig or even a stressful office job position, at least 80 wouldn't. Male Privilege

Yes, but everyone has their privileges. People made it out to be a suffering contest and it baffles me. I have moments where I feel like the entire world is against me. My gf has her moments too, albeit different than mine. It would be so much better if everyone can fucking give each other some breathing space and not make enemies out of everyone.

I have trouble wrapping my head around the idea of "rape culture" which is described as a society where sexual assault is normalized and permitted, perpetrators do not face consequences, and the victim is blamed for having been assaulted. I feel that people who say that such a thing exists are seeing trends in the world that I'm just unaware of.

Feminists live to make stuff up.

A patriarchy is a system where only men have a say and typically use their power to benefit men. That’s not us. Women have equal voting rights and are free to run for any public office a man can. We see politicians choosing appointments specifically because they are women. We have passed many laws advantaging women over men. We simply do not have a patriarchy.

A privilege is a benefit granted to some people but denied others. Look through the lists of supposed male privileges and find a single true thing that fits this. At the same time we have numerous laws legally privileging women.

We don’t live in a rape culture. Forcible rape is typically a felony crime. It is not condoned or encouraged. If we are going to argue we live in a rape culture then by the same logic we live in a murder culture, a robbery culture, a theft culture, a paternity fraud culture, a culture where men are defamed, because these all occur as well.

It’s the same with most such feminist catch phrases.

Maybe there are some barriers is certain situations. Men certainly face barriers in many fields, like teaching, working in a kindergarten,... Honestly, in the current social climate, I think there are clear barriers and biases against men and I think there are situations where women would be disadvantaged, maybe if she wants to become a commando:). Maybe you can come up with at least a few examples.

Earlier at my bookstore job today having to help a customer look for a book in the gender studies section (which surprise, only includes books about women) seeing these terms on more than a few of them.

I wonder how we as a community go about diversifying the books in that section to include more books from a male perspective?

Barriers exist. Although, they're not impenetrable. Last year Zhou Guanyu flew right over the barriers at Silverstone.

That's an F1 reference, but everyone has barriers. It's too vague for this list. I grew up straight and white with a family that made too much money for me to get government aid, but spent it all so had none to help me with college. It cost me around $120k to go to school because I had no instruction on the process and went somewhere expensive (I guess?). I didn't realize it was expensive at the time.

That was a barrier in my growth in life. My wife and I paid off around $150k school loans total and sacrificed our asses off in the process.
