So, women age of retirement will augment by 5.5% while for men it will only augment by 5%. That's definitely sexist against women /s.

And if you think this retort is ridiculous? In France, te age of retirement for women is lowered by 2 years for each kid they have. So, for one kid, a woman could retire at 60 instead of 62. Only for women though. As a dude, you can have as many kids as you want, that won't change.

So, a few years back, our dear President proposed to raise the age of retirement by 2 years across every demographics.

And, and I kid you not, there were feminist publically criticizing this reform on public television, because it impacts mothers more than any other demograhic. Because they already had to work less longer than other demographics, and as such a 2 year rise was proportionnally more impactful.

Well, except that they didn't say that. Just that it impacts mothers more.

That country screwed itself so hard. 20% excess men from gender imbalance and yet somehow there are masses of single unmarried women who are all wanting a relationship and can't find one. Surely it's doomed in another few generations if they can't let their elders retire because nobody wants to do shit.

Men have shorter life expectancies due to weaker immune systems and being expected to do the most dangerous jobs to earn money and be providers yet have to retire 5 years later than women? Wtf!

In some countries like Argentina women's retirement age is 60 years old against 65 yo for men. The purpose of this old legislation was to compensate women for all the extra work they have for taking care of the household and children.

All I can think of lower retirement age is is it a country where the norm is that a daughter usually takes over the care of her parents of older family members when they reach a certain age? That could be saving that country a hefty sum....or maybe do a lot of men have children with more than one woman, so they would possibly be reproducing at a higher rate and adding more dependants and expenses to more people and the country? That may be why men work longer. I don't know the answer, it's just my thoughts.
