FDS and MGTOW are NOT the same things. I've visited both sites and FDS is pure hatred towards men and how to use men to have a good life.

MGTOW was about men who got divorce raped and were advocating the single life style and to fill your life with hobbies, career excellence, and fitness instead of risking to lose everything again by getting married. Sure there was the typical inappropriate post, but 90% were about self-advancement.

There are plenty of women who have had bad experiences with men, and when they say they don't want a man and want to be independent, society applauds them and calls them queens.

Yet when men have had bad experiences with women, and try to say the same thing, they're suddenly misogynistic. I know plenty of MGTOW who have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and false allegations. Many of them have trauma as well, and them saying they don't want to date anymore shouldn't be seen as hate speech.

You can't bring it back because the people running this app are anti male. Remember the fiasco about the Mod with shady sexual behavior. Anyone who said anything about him/her/it got banned. Then it got fired when other stuff came up.

MGTOW wasn't a hate sub but explained the lifestyle and how to beat the systems out there. I'm finding that people have a problem with men opting out of society yet this society doesn't care about men. It was and still is a via answer to not be taken advantage of.

FDS is a hate sub hiding in plain sight. They've cleaned up a lot of posts since MGTOW went down. The very thing r/. ... ...AgainstHatesubreddits accused MGTOW subs of still runs rampant. If you don't know what that sub is just remove the dots and browse.

They are responsible for the take down of any sub they don't agree with WHICH are mostly men's subs. There are alphabet community subs that are just as bad if not worse than FDS but no one looks at those either. The against hate sub is a hate sub masquerading as a white knight army of people censoring whomever they don't agree with.

I always admire the MGTOWs. As far as men go, they're the best of us. Super cool, super wise, great guys. I wish I had their level of self-control but instead I have a "siccness for the thiccness"

The problem is that r/MGTOW got infested with incels who migrated over after the incel subs got banned, which happened for a good reason, you can't be a part of a tragedy and expect no retribution. Blackpills (the proper category for "incels") are notoriously bad at conforming with social media community guidelines. They basically shit all over the streets of the manosphere wherever they go and make us all look bad

Reddit officially has a stance that all groups are protected except for men and white people. Google it, came from the admins themselves. Therefore, FDS is allowed to exist in its current iteration since it isn't hate speech according to Reddit, because Reddit doesn't recognize men as people worthy of human rights protections

The one and only time I went to r/MGTOW was the day it got banned, shortly prior. It was nowhere near as bad as FDS in terms of hatred and hate speech by that point, but the incels had already done enough damage. Not that Reddit's ban was justified. The sub was fine in quarantine, which is where all the hate speech subs that don't actually promote, encourage or dogwhistle acts of terrorism / murder / violence / crime really should be. I believe in free speech, even if that speech is hateful, as long as it doesn't lead to harm, but I grew up in the streets where if someone talked bad about you, you just retaliated with that same energy

FDS, Diabla & feminism should be quarantined as well, since those heavily tolerant of anti-male hate speech. There was a thread on feminism a day back about killing boys... not men, killing little boys. I know men aren't a protected group but children should absolutely be off-limits

Ultimately, it's about money. Reddit got rid of the "troublesome" subs (the ones with negative news articles) a few months before announcing they're going public. You want to get FDS banned, or at least quarantined? Get them on national television news and in viral news articles, quote people on Reddit talking about murdering young boys with impunity. The bad press during this sensitive period will fix the problem long before our logical debates and moral protesting will

For us to get r/MGTOW back... Tbh there would have to be a mod dedicated to ensuring 2 things:

community guidelines are always met and then some
incels and anyone who espouses blackpill ideology are banned on sight

Incels are naturally drawn to MGTOW spaces when they have nowhere better to go because MGTOWs tend to have an attitude that comforts the incel's biggest challenge:

Blackpills: "we want to deal with women! but they don't let us!"
MGTOWs: "women aren't worth dealing with in the first place. Go monk, become a hermit, you'll be happier in the long-term"
Blackpills: "😲"

See, blackpills and purplepills can't get along because purples have everything the blacks want, blackpills and redpills can't get along because reds will remind the blacks that they're actively choosing to suck at life instead of getting better, blackpills and bluepills can't get along because blues don't want to be associated with "incels" lest their queens sentence them to guilt by association, literally the only group that readily accepts incel ideology (or at least doesn't directly challenge it) is MGTOW

Of course, when a group that's jaded to women becomes infested by a group that's frustrated with women, hate speech will be everywhere. And that's why that sub was quarantined

Interaction between blackpills and MGTOWs can never lead anywhere except hate speech, because the only thing the two sides even have in common is a distaste for women. Everything else is different, incels are starving for female validation while MGTOWs couldn't care less, they just want to be left alone and not bothered. These groups can literally only talk to each other about the one thing they agree on

You see very few actual MGTOWs upset about losing their sub, because they were already jaded towards social media megacorps and were already doing their cool sage hermit thing in a more private corner of the internet like the locals boards, which are basically Reddit from 2011 back when it was free and fun

So any MGTOW sub on Reddit would have to have actively banning incels as a primary directive. Unfortunately, I don't think any real MGTOW would even have the energy to bother moderating a sub to meet community guidelines when there're perfectly functional subs that look and work just like Reddit on other platforms, without the extra nonsense

And I don't think incels even deserve a safe space to live on Reddit given their violent history. MGTOW is about being a hermit or monk or even a sigma who's refusing marriage or cohabitation. It's literally their motto: "No marriage, no cohabitation". It's not about crying over how bad women are like incels do, although sharing MGTOW survival stories about getting railed during divorce & child custody courts is super helpful to young inexperienced men (like I once was) when done outside the presence of incels. Incels have YouTube, that's their corner of the brightweb now. They can stay off of Reddit

One is discussion of strategies to ruin your chances of finding a sane partner while blaming men.

The other is discussion of how to not date at all because of the attitude of some women.

I personally don't need to discuss how to survive without women. I just exist and let them wonder why I don't take advantage of their obvious advances ... It's really easy.

I have had enough relationships and have children, been screwed over etc. I don't care to have another relationship in the same way I don't care to have another drink of water. Don't hate water, I just dont need another drink. But I also don't need to convince anyone else of the need to avoid water.

Now, if there was a subreddit that focused on how to identify red flag women and improve men's ability to spot and counter manipulation then I can see value.

I would honestly love for mgtow to be brought back as long as they're not misogynistic. As long as the subreddit focuses on teaching Independence for men and focusing on men only I would live for it. And it's really sad because in the beginning of mgtow it really was only focused on helping men out it had nothing to do with women, but then a whole bunch of incels joined in and f***** it up for everyone. And I still wonder why fds is still allowed I mean I have to give it to them after all this time, of a f*** ton of hate and toxicity they're still living so🤷‍♂️

well theres one of two ways to go about that, grassroots by gathering enough popularity, which isnt likely because theres more female voters than male, unless you take into account dudes with multiple accounts and various setups to create multiple individual votes. or infiltrating reddit and making it happen somehow.

I'd love to see MGTOW unbanned. I can easily say that MGTOW was banned because of posts bashing women. The opposers of MGTOW used what they could to pull it down.

However, the awesome posts for me were things like improving oneself. I liked the idea that there was a group that supported men in abandoning whatever bad memories they had in the past of being in a relationship and encouraging them to go their own way.

I mean, there were a lot of other tidbits too, like stories of people getting over stressful times, getting better jobs, finding new purpose to replace what was a relationship\marriage.

The way I would see MGTOW surviving on Reddit is that the bashing and outlash against women has to be it's own subreddit and the intellectual reformative part of MGTOW needs it's own place. If the Mods of MGTOW could have the ability to "throw" posts to the other subreddit, it would work.

MGTOW was banned due to the behaviour of the participants and moderators. FDS remains because they don't cross those lines.

The problem is that most people don't understand how reddit works and thinks that these issues are ideological in nature.

Ideology certainly results in some groups being given fewer "chances" than others, but it isn't the reason for bannings.

Probably not on reddit at least. It was overrun by incels. MGTOW2 on the other hand was more reasonable and much more modded. MGTOW groups in reddit forked for a reason...

The problem with MGTOW is many people claim they are it because the various coloured pill's leaks into it because its brand was stoeln from the original meaning of MGTOW which is mostly the legal asepct of the marriage deal.

I actually run a MGTOW group... it actually functions. As a basic rule we basically had to ban outright any discussion about women except in personal circumstances simply because it constantly decends into "blame the others ones" style of posts from the men. The rule for this is very clear and we have to kick massive numbers of people who break it because they are not there for "going their own way" they are simply there for "lets have a cricle jerk bashing women"

If you want it unbanned figure out how to undo the reputation problem / branding damage it has......
