So I'm standing in line at the local mini supermarket this morning and their automated tills are down, so it's just a single cashier. There's a big queue as a result. Luckily I didn't have anywhere to go and just wanted some fresh milk for the morning coffee.

In rolls this woman, about 40ish with an air of entitlement about her, I could just tell we were going to have trouble. She gets a few items and try's to jump the queue by saying loudly that she's double parked (school zone) so she might get a ticket and could she just push in. I thought she was about to get away with it except the guy up front tells her to get her ass to the back. She then complains about him not being a gentleman, to which he responds..."You have equality, so be equal and get in the line like everyone else". A small cheer erupts from the queue, both men AND women. Unfortunately for me I'm near the back and she starts going off about it all, so I had to turn around and say to her that he was right, she's not special and she needs to learn to wait like everyone else and if she gets a ticket, well she should make choices more wisely. She tried swearing at me a few times, then the security guard told her if she didn't be quiet and stop bothering other customers she'd be thrown out and banned. That shut her up.

Took 5 mins to get to the front and pay...then just to top it off as I was leaving, a traffic warden was affixing a parking fine to her car window...

Karma...don't you just love it.
