You can't fix hypergamy. You might as well try to fix the sky being blue. You have to accept that it is and base the rules of society around it.

What can be fixed is bureaugamy, the creation of which is what has allowed hypergamy to run unchecked and lead to the social problems we face.

I think there are more factors at play that can influence female hypergamy.

Declining sexual market value due to liberal sexual attitudes
Declining reproductive market value due to over population and lack of resources
Limited options to marry up for higher earning women
Men more demanding about their selection of women
Men rejecting long term commitments with women

If it doesn't work out then eventually the muslims will out number us anyway.

I think if we as a society work to understand both male and female nature it would go a long way toward disarming it. Woman's weakness is the ability to manipulate men for her selfish ends and man's weakness is women. This needs to be taught in school. Boys will be 'inoculated' against manipulation and taught how to resist it, and girls should be taught that it's wrong to manipulate.

How can we fix hypergamy in an ethical manner and halt its destructive effect on both individuals and our society?

Complementary roles.

Women get a unique and protected, sacred, role in the home and community.

Men get a unique and protected, sacred, role outside the community in individual pursuits and war.

The result is that hypergamy is not encouraged, because it leads to failure in terms of the values of that civilization.

You can't "fix" human nature, male or female.

There is a reason eugenics is frowned upon and communism is considered a horrific ideology. Because they tried to "fix" people, and ended up killing billions they felt "undesirable".

Besides, hypergamy is relative. If you eliminate the top few men you consider a threat, the next in the hierarchy become the new apex of the hierarchy.

You cant "fix" hypergamy.

The problem is that you're assuming the current dating situation in our society is natural.

It is not. This is not the result of natural Hypergamy. In the United States, the leverage is unnaturally placed in women's favor by Liberal Government programs and Liberal Academia. (I have observed this as a woman myself). On one hand men mostly abide by the traditional Western ideals of chivalry (Lady's first and what not). They pay for the meals, give women the children in case of divorce, the house and almost everything. Yet this is unbalanced with the fact that women now have almost the same amount of money, power and education that men do (with exception to a small number of really powerful men in the top 1% of society).

In the 90's, as an outgrowth of Feminism, much of our society was restructured in women's favor. Everything from marriage, jobs to institutions of education.

In short, we have a society where women have more of the poker chips than men do.

Yes, as a fact, women are attracted to men who are more powerful than they are. But in nature, most men are naturally more powerful than most women: stronger, faster, and without the burden of pregnancy weighing them down.

Therefore, in a natural setting - most men can attract most women. Also, in a natural setting, women are more willing to accept Beta traits in a male - out of need to keep a loyal and loving mate in her life to protect her and her kin. He might not be as sexy as the Alpha guy in the pack. But under the burden of pregnancy and the need to find food - sexual appeal takes a back seat to survival needs.

In today's synthetic society of government hand outs, the loyalty of a beta protector has lost purpose and meaning.

If the government started to give all female birds a nest, female birds would stop settling down with the males who can make a nest - and instead choose the dangerous males out of sexual attraction.

In short: You don't need a heavy handed, religious fascist government to keep women in place. (Governments like this are bad for men too. Being a guy is hard in Saudi Arabia because you can't even see a woman naked till you're like 30). What we need is less government. No more VAWA. No more alimony. No more affirmative action, unnatural school systems and welfare. With less enablers, nature and tradition will sort itself out.

One is to have women's autonomy limited by law, as happens in Muslim countries.

It’s only one way to beat hypergamy and that’s to become high value, you’ll literally feel the difference, I’m now 26 and I remember a couple years ago life sucked, I wasn’t getting paid, had NO CAR, NO APARTMENT but I always had a litt personality thou but that’s not good enough in todays society. Now I’m a future contracts day trader I make $7 -10k a week, I drive an AMG 63s and I swear I can pick up a new women everyday if I wanted too. It’s all about leveling up the only way to beat hypergamy again is to level your life up, a female will always pick a high value man over one that’s not, I swear I’m getting revenge for all the times women wouldn’t even respond to me or ex girlfriends would leave me for a guy that drove a car when I didn’t have one. Now I’m surpass that level, I’m above them and it’s the sweetest feeling ever.
