Mycroft holmes of bbc sherlock. Smart is the new sexy. Probably no LTR though, he can't stand "goldfish " remember? So basically one sided crush. Then again, considering the fact that he can be extremely condescending, probably not.

i seem to have a thing for the tortured hero/anti-hero types. you know, the ones that do their best to do good in their own way, despite their dark/sad past and some failed attempts. might struggle to come up with one that everyone can recognize but think maybe movie bucky barnes, or TV punisher, cassian andor, or maybe this game character. i seem to remember having a crush on jax teller too. yes, obviously, it helps that they are/would be physically attractive.

probably not. it's fun because it's fictional; it would probably be pretty miserable in reality, and no doubt, we'd end up parting ways. i usually imagine myself in their world if i happen to daydream about it, so it makes sense then. it would not make sense for them to be pulled into this world or my life, which is far less tragic than most of their stories.

If the character has flaws, why are they not dealbreakers?

probably because at their core, our values and views are similar (despite many other vast differences that might be there). i mean, our differences would be the thing that killed it in the end so some of those flaws are a dealbreaker, but our similarities are what would prevent it from immediately falling apart, at least.

Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation. He's serious when he needs to be, but can completely geek out in a moment's notice. He's absolutely adorable. Another similar characters is Dr. Reid from Criminal Minds.

Tyrion Lannister, of the TV series. I could absolutely have a great LTR with that character. He's very attractive, not to mention witty, sexual, intelligent, insightful, knows how to use everything the world offers and make the most of even shitty situations with his sharp tongue and quick sense of humor.

Honestly, the only thing I would consider an issue with his character is the constant drinking. But even so, I can understand why he does it.

My favourite fictional guy is probably Faramir from LotR. Had a crush on him since I was 11. He's kind, intelligent, cultured and capable. Definitely good LTR material. His character flaws as shown in the book/movies (e.g. being too eager to please his father) aren't really LTR-relevant.

Second favourite guy is Victor from Code: Realize. Personality-wise, similar to Faramir but more gentle and abhors violence. I suppose he could potentially be too much of a pushover in a relationship, which would cause the girl to feel less attracted to him. The main dealbreaker is not his personality but that he was indirectly responsible for the deaths of many people, though it wasn't his fault.

Happy LTR? Not sure. On one hand, he would be likely to respect my need for space since he probably needs a lot of his own space too. The fact that he's an introvert means that I won't have to be dealing with large groups of friends and complicated social situations. On the other hand he can be condescending and lacks emotions.

Honestly the condescending and lacks emotions might be a deal breaker.

For a relationship - Liam or Chris Hemsworth.

Every role they play highlights them as a playfully witty (my fav!), considerate, and devoted, but still manly man.

They're weirdly perfect in a "raised well" sense. Seemingly IRL too. I aspire to be their wife and fuck forever more!

As far as tryst, binged watched The 100 couple months ago. I would totally devote the gayest 3 months of my life to Lexa. The mutual respect/admiration turned lust her and Clark had for each other totes was into it. A lesbian affair that intense is on my bucket list.

Oh! And Enzo from Vampire Diaries.

Finally I would never want to be in a relationship with James in Taboo, but a passionate affair where he just totally owns me would be hot. He wouldn't have to speak. He could just grunt knowingly and kill expertly and just "know." In fact our relationship wouldn't even entail words. Just knowing glances.

What all of these characters have in common despite being different is that they're pretty considerate to one they're romantically involved with. I don't date mean or inconsiderate people. I get resentful easily.

Julian from the Famous Five (adult version obvs).

Julian is the eldest of the five, cousin to George and elder brother to Dick and Anne. He is tall, strong and intelligent as well as caring, responsible and kind. His cleverness and reliability are often noted by Aunt Fanny. He is the leader of the group and is very protective towards Anne.

He can be a bit arrogant, and bossy. But can reduce Adults to nervousness when he puts on his "Grown Up" voice and act, and his sharp tongue often gets the better of many of the villains the five encounter. Has a softer side when it comes to his sister Anne, and likes a laugh.

I think I just have a thing for bossy, upstanding, commanding Brits with very dry senses of humour.

Tommy Conlon from the film Warrior. A happy LTR with him would not be possible. He is hugely flawed in a lot of the same ways as my dad, so a relationship with him would feel familiar and comfortable in a really miserable and unhealthy way.

I think if I was in the marvel universe I might fall for Deadpool. I kind of relate to the making the best of a bad situation humor he has, and that deep down he wants to be appreciated. He would clearly be annoying sometimes, but I think with patience and love he would start to think he was worth it, which would be important. I bet he is in to some weird stuff too.

It is hard to think of a recent character in something live action I really liked, but I did love Jeff Goldblum in Independence Day 1, He was just so smart and a bit cocky, but still a pretty nice guy. He was also super hot

or TOS Spock, but I don't think it'd work, I like emotional guys

As I grew up I came to really like Murakami's heroes. Quiet, introspective, intelligent, usually readers.
