I have good man in quotes because really how can this be defined? I've often heard it be a man who takes care of a woman and treats her with kindness and respect, a classic gentleman. So why? I feel like we're told, women should be independent, make their own money, and have the same place in a relationship that a man does. So why the hell would I be a gentleman? If being "the man" in the relationship has become frowned upon and bad why should I still make the same sacrifices I was expected to make for having that position? You can't have total equality and special treatment yk? How do you rationalize this, do you agree?

Also: The term real man, good man, high value man, and big dick energy should totally be written off because I've never seen them used outside of a woman saying what she wants out of a man.
