Sweet and I met 3 years ago at a bakery in my hometown, here in Italy.

We were both eyeing the last cannoli in the window. He insisted I take it.....he got a croissant. We both ordered espresso . He insisted on paying! He invited me join him outside. It was love at first sight. The conversation was endless, next thing I knew it was lunch time. He invited me to dinner that evening.

Within a month he present me with a ring, we've never been apart.

I'm engaged! Don't know which catg. I fit in so I'm here! Well, me and bubbie (my nickname for him) met at one of those 5 min dates and then you move to the next table events. I met 20 guys that night, but bubbie stood out. We really didn't talk.....he just starred and I just starred back. Awkward...he took my number and we've been texting ever since that night....about a year ago. The first thing I noticed were his hands and that he's a tall drink of water. I fell for him instantly, but kept it to myself. I should also mention....he's got this crazy sense of humor hence his nickname for me. We just keep one upping each other, till one of us pees our pants. Did I mention ....I love him with all my <3.

Also, he wrote this <3 <3 <3 on the cocktail napkin that I wrote my number on. I noticed in his office, it was framed on the wall. I didn't say anything about it.

I was 19 when we got married, he was 21

I love our lingo. If a stranger came into our house for a day they'd be very confused, but we understand each other perfectly.

~2.5 years I think? I can't math this early in the morning. We met in October 2010 and got married in June 2013. I was 22 and he was 24. It was such a beautiful day :) I know you would all be jealous if you saw pictures ;)

My husband and I met through my little brother when we were both 19. We fell pregnant within 6 months of dating and went on to have 2 more children and finally tied the knot after being together 7 years, this year is our 12th anniversary. The first thing I noticed about him was his sense of humour. It's incredibly dark and very similar to my own. These days we only have to look at each other and we know what we're both laughing at. I think the best part of our marriage is that I can say anything to him and we can talk/argue whatever. I am often in the wrong as I can be overly emotional but I feel totally comfortable apologising as he understands my ways. He's a better parent than me but he loves that I'm a stay at home mum as well. He grew up as a latch key kid in a single parent household so he really appreciates my contribution.

I met my husband while in university. He was a friend of a new friend I had just made there; he wasn't a student.

The first thing I noticed was his huge muscles, tan, how tall he was and his v-shaped torso. He screamed testosterone and made everyone stare. Just yum!

We knew each other as friends for about a year and then from the time we professed our mutual love for each other until we married was about 8 months. We were only engaged a little over a month when we decided to elope. I was 23 and he was 24 when we tied the knot.

One thing I really love about our marriage is that we have proven time and time again that we can overcome anything with the power of our combined resolve.

I met my husband at a rapier-fighting tournament in April 2013; he'd just accepted formal studentship with the husband of the lady with whom I have an informal studentship. We didn't really hang out much during the day, but apparently someone saw a spark between us and insisted I help out at the dinner in the evening. Which is where he and I started chatting away to each other and sparks flew.

The first thing I noticed about him was his humor; it was similar to mine, but he had such poise with it, for want of a better word. I think one of the first things he said to me was "stand still, so I can stab you already!"

We officially started dating in June 2013; we'd interacted a bit on Facebook since that fateful day in April, but he held off hot pursuit till he knew I was receptive. As soon as we started dating, friends predicted we'd be married before the year was out. We got married more or less 5 months to the day of our first date, and he'd proposed about 3 weeks in. He knew what he wanted, and he wasn't afraid to state it boldly. I was 33, he was 34 when we married, and was both of our first marriages -- he never wanted to settle for second best.

I love everything about him and us. From the fact that we chase each other around the house with makeshift rapiers, to the fact that he'll randomly send me texts during the day that just read "<3".

Engaged, consider ourselves married. We met online through a video game. First thing I noticed was his voice. He just has a really attractive voice. Then He added me on Facebook and I found out the personality and the voice had everything else to match! Our similar interests is an awesome cherry on top! :)

We met twice in person before we both took the big risk of me driving 4 hours to move in with him. We've been together for over 3 years, each year gets better and better as we grow more and more together as a team in love and in life.

I know it's cliche but we really are best friends right down to the inside jokes and wanting to be around each other all the time. It worries me because if I lose him I lose everything, I have no BFF to fall back on.

Summer romance, high school. Loved his curly dark hair. Together all through college, except for a while when I dated another guy. Married at 23. 3 children. Been married for 26 years. One thing I love? That the sexual tension has not diminished. Sure, there might be some down times, but always know that they will pass. And that you CAN teach and old dog new tricks! :-)
