Today I made a mistake. Not an unusual thing in this household (haha), but it's a mistake I've made several times and it's one my husband has jokingly and then more seriously had words with me over.

So my big fluff isthat I don't check pockets when I do the laundry. I got it from my mum I think, but over the past few months I've washed semi-important receipts (hohum, oh well, business as usual), then a tv remote (eeep - lucky it still worked!), but now I wrecked a handwritten document that was very important (argh).

Let me just get this out here: I wish my husband checked his pockets before putting his pants in the hamper!!!!!!!!! Maybe sometimes he does, I don't know to be fair.

What I do know is that he expects me to check everyone's pockets if I'm doing laundry.

So. I hereby vow that I actually will do this from now on. Truly :(

Would love to hear any stories of times you've made mistakes - big or small - and then taken responsibility for changing.

Thanks :)
