The problem isn't necessarily that she wants to go to the club. Clubs have events and stuff, bands, DJs, etc. They suck because they are also expensive and full of guys looking to bone your girl, but it isn't as if there is always nothing there of worth other than the pick up scene.

The problem is that she left it to the last possible moment to tell him, which looks 100% to me like she's trying to rush it past him and that's a huge red flag. If she'd told him earlier in the day with what she was intending on doing and why, he'd probably have found something more subtle to do about it. One text saying "hey roz wants to go to club whatever to see whatever tonight, i'm thinking of going too" is that so much to ask to keep a relationship one based upon negotiation not ultimatum?

This topic comes up about once every two weeks now, and the resolution is always the same:

If your wife/LTR/plate is getting dressed up to go to nightclubs until 2am without you, you have already failed in your game.

You threatening to go out with the "bros" in retaliation is only going to make you look pathetic and desperate, and will only further confirm what she's already been suspecting. It doesn't work, because you are never, ever going to out-slut a female. If a top-shelf male and a top-shelf female both go out to get laid 10 times, the female will ALWAYS win. "Bros night out" will never outdo "girls night out". And if you bitch and moan to her about it, and shame her, guilt her about, it, she may in fact stay with you and not go out, but she's still gonna peg you for a beta schlub. If a girl wants to fuck other men, she's gonna fuck other men. Period.

There's a bit of a difference between a club and a brothel, and a bit of a difference between getting validation / attention and fucking someone.

Anyway, restricting your SO's activities is mate-guarding and the wrong approach to get her to not fuck other guys.

You cannot negotiate desire.

If your girlfriend wants to go clubbing without you it just means you need to run more dread game, disengage, give her less commitment / treat her more like a plate and less like a girlfriend proportionally to how much she is seeking the validation of other men. If she worships the ground at your feet, then be the knight in shining armor with a bouquet of roses for her. If she wants to go clubbing with her girlfriends in a dress that ends at midthigh, then start going out with other girls ("she's just a friend babe don't worry") and don't come home until 2AM yourself. If you don't want to play bullshit games like this, cut ties and find a new girlfriend immediately. But mate guarding / trying to negotiate her desire for you is seriously not an option.

If you are worried about your girlfriend fucking other men then your only choice is to make her worry about YOU fucking other women and hope she starts competing with other women to secure commitment from you again. She needs to stop taking your attention, time, and validation for granted (which she must be if she is going to the club to get even more of those resources from other men) and realize that you can withdraw those things very easily.

If that doesn't work and you are both going to clubs without each other and getting validation from others, then she just must not be attracted to you and you may as well demote her to plate status and start actively spinning other plates again. Hope that the next girl you make a monogamous commitment with is more attracted to you and doesn't need other men to validate her in order to feel complete and fulfilled.

Really, I dont think the brothel is a good analogy for this situation. Going to a brothel, there is no plausible deniability. Women going the club? Tons of plausible deniability.

However, this situation proves how necessary dread game is for men. "Oh, you and your friend are going clubbing? Cool, I'll just invite former plate X over. We're just going to be watching a movie on Netflix, I swear! Did I mention, we used to have sex all the time? We are just friends now though..."

Notice how you can even the odds by having other options. Cheating/hypergamy is obviously easier for women, as they can have sex whenever they want. But jealousy and "dread" are extremely powerful and even much more subtle dread game can help situations like this from never occurring.

If anything, the brothel analogy doesn't go far enough. Brothels cost money. At a club, women get paid in drinks and have their pick of free c0ck.

I see this poor mentality all the time, from both genders.

I want my woman to go out and play and have fun, and smile coyly at the boys buying her drinks because she knows they can't possibly compare with what she has at home. If I've actually narrowed my dating pool to just her and agreed to be exclusive, she damn better be an alpha female and able to manipulate and turn down men left and right.

And I want her to trust that I will do the same when I go out.

Jealousy and fear are symptoms of weakness. I don't give a shit who my girlfriend talks to and what she does; she knows she has the best, and if she fucks around she'll lose it in a heartbeat. I don't even worry or play the 'what-if' game.

That's what a truly solid relationship is like. Never try to control your partner; simply make them constantly appreciate your value and fear losing you.

Fuck mate guarding. This would introduce the controlling idea of "you can't go out to _____ because I said so" into the relationship. Control is the last thing I tolerate and this would be begging for it. Next thing you know it would be happening to me and if I say it only works one way, I've introduced hypocrisy too - another deal breaker. I won't have any of that shit.

So its dread time. Have fun girl! I won't be here when you get home and I may smell of perfume when I rock in drunk at 5am in a fantastic mood and laugh when asked to give an explanation.
