I like to approach everyone, everywhere, all the time. The point is to start a conversation, once you get the other party talking all you need to do to keep it going. Ask (a question, what are their plans for the weekend, where did they get x clothing item ect.) Relate (tell a story of your own but keep it in the context of the initial question.) Share (tell a story without being asked but make sure to include everyone in the group, this helps them open up about themselves) Repeat.

Actions speak louder than words! You are a man, take what you want when you want it. If you feel like having a cuddle session go lay down or saying your going to lay down and you want her to join you then position her for cuddling. Don't talk to her about being weirded out that's her issue not yours. your not weirded out so just keep on being you. She might be struggling with feelings/attraction and your history together.

look up the michael jordan nike failure commercial on you tube and watch it 20+ times. I've been married for 5 years and with my soon to be ex-wife for 3 years before that. My nonexistent game is rusty. I can make light banter easily enough i can flirt, provided the situation calls for it. What I can't do is make a cold contact. I feel cheesy, and creepy.
