It successfully overturned laws that discriminate against men.

Feminists have fought to keep female perpetrated rape legal, promoted the Duluth model, instituted biased family courts, and done nothing about the draft. They have actively gone out of their way to promote legal discrimination against men.

Three, maybe four of these are somewhat accurate. The rest are either loose correlations being attributed to causation, gross misrepresentations, and a few straight-up falsehoods.

The sad thing is that there are some positive things feminism has done for men, either directly or as by product to other endeavors, but this author could not be bothered with the time our thought to investigate them.

My favorite one was for sure number 6 with the whole 'women getting abortions gives men reproductive control'. That just seems perfectly at odds with the feminist idea of 'it's her body, not his; he doesn't get a choice'.

And then, they grasp at straws even further by saying 'even men can get abortions. People who identify as men might be able to reproduce, so them getting abortions is the same thing as biological men having access to abortion'.

I liked 7 too because it's 'feminists made the definition of rape include men... that is, as long as it was another man penetrating them. Because as we all know, women can't force someone to penetrate'.

And don't even get me started on number 20.

I think the two most appalling claims, or at least the most egregious lies in this piece are the economy and gender expression. The economy has completely tanked and men depending on their breadwinner wives does not count as economic security. Women entered the work force because they wanted to be independent and form their own lives. Why on earth do they not apply this standard when it comes to men depending on women? As far as gender expression goes, the masculine man has become a complete joke in America. Its funny, considering that in most of Latin America, Africa, Russia, and Australia, men are expected to be masculine. Its what men strive to be. I understand the effort to stop demonizing soft or effeminate men, after all they're not hurting anybody, but your run of the mill man does not need to be vilified for this to happen.

Isn't science the only thing that is truly objective? The logic in this article wouldn't even make sense to me if I became severely brain damaged. If you're quoting Michael Kimmel in your article, it probable has nothing to do with helping regular Joe's. It has more to do with redefining what are acceptable expressions of manhood, include femininity and traditional Ashkenazi Jewish masculinity, as advocated by Kimmel, Harry Brod etc.

I don't like giving foot traffic to sites like these, don't want them getting ad money for trying to spread beliefs/opinions that I want to give validity to (based on the reception I've been seeing here).

Could someone offer either inform me that the link does not in fact lead to something in support of the ideas or give me a means of seeing what they say without having to visit the site? I couldn't help but laugh at #3. It's like, "Gee, thanks, now what about paternity fraud?" Which leads me to #5. Sure, there's more sexy time, but the dangers of engaging in it have also increased exponentially. And that quote:

Looks at Spain's unemployment and GDP growth rates... Unemployment, 26%. Unemployment of those under 24, 55%, GDP growth over the last 5 years, <-3%

Frankly, as a Spaniard that is considering leaving the country just to get away from this depressing situation, I don't know if I should feel slapped in the face or just chuckle.
