You know, I can deal with a lot without getting angry, I can handle double standards, and internal hypocrisy, and No True Scotsman's paradoxes, and flat condemnation of opposition as hate speech.

I can deal proposing badly written and stupid laws. I can deal with rage. I can deal with ad hominem. I can deal with guilt-tripping. I can deal with almost anything.

But I cannot deal with Censorship

And if you try to take away my books, it doesn't matter if I agree with the books, or their authors, or their messages, it doesn't matter if I like them, I WILL oppose you.

Doesn't matter if the books are fairy tales, science textbooks, religious texts, slice of life comedies, short stories, novels, history books, philosophical treatises, or actual works of hate speech: I will fight to keep them all.

Because no matter how worthless, empty, or even evil a some books are, they are not absolutely dead things, but do contain a potency of life in them to be as active as that soul was whose progeny they are; nay, they do preserve as in a vial the purest efficacy and extraction of that living intellect that bred them.

It's not even a new development. They've been waging their ideological war against children's stories for decades. Even translations of popular books get changed in this way so most people don't realize they're not reading the original book but a feminist approved alteration of it.

I first thought they're going to discuss the basis of a lot of fairy tales like Sleeping beauty which originally involved rape etc instead it's banning children's books because of gender roles, I can understand making new books with more diverse characters or slightly changing the story to make a new one like many modern shows/films do but outright banning something like those books is disgusting, then they're promoting children watching porn wtf?

It's one thing to insist we teach that other kinds of families exist and there's nothing wrong with them.

It's another to completely demonize the system that has been predominate throughout our history and works for most people.

The authors of the report strongly recommend urgent legislative measures in the field of children's literature. In particular, they suggest introducing a policy of "equality of all social sectors." An example of alternative children's literature is a book "King and King" with kissing men on the cover. According to the report, this would help children to learn about the "true sexual diversity of society."

I think all scandanavian stories should be rewritten under the assumption that all of their history has consisted of black lesbian communes that worshiped some non-traditional god.

Why even hint at the notion that men and white people exist? That will only traumatize the poor girls (all children will now be referred to as girls regardless of gender to avoid normalizing any particular gender in the language).

I just want to say that I fully support this. I also support banning and media that make a woman look bad in any way because that is sexism and is bad.
