I often wonder if it's not a mistake to talk about men's rights, as if they were different from any other human being's. I believe we should push for "Equalitarian" Human Rights, and maybe call ourselves Equalitarians.

I think that MRA, Men's rights, and other pro-men's nomers only plays into the militant feminist's ("Femachistas" or "Fasciministas") game. I think that if we can position ourselves as hard egalitarians, we have much more to gain, than if we try to position ourselves as a counterweight.

This would pull the rug under them, as we would be asking for equal rights. No discrimination, positive or negative. If you want equality, you get it. Pension? Say what? Why should another grown up pay for you? If there are kids, the parent hosting them gets half the estimated cost for food and clothing expenditure, and if in the US, whatever the cost of medical coverage (Most of the rest of the developed world has some form of state medical coverage). Period. Want to be a policeperson? Well run, jump and carry as much as men, because bad guys are not going to wait for you, etc...)

Tl;Dr: We are playing into the militant feminists by taking opposite side. We should be hard core "center" to show them to be the extremists that they are.
