Literally just finished my Freshers week at Uni, a guy on the floor above me 'raped' a girl (they were completely happy all night), he got kicked out of dorms, only for her to the next day drop the charges.. Turns out she only said it because she had a Boyfriend back home.. Everyone now has extradited her, and everyone feels well sorry for him. Dick move girl. Dick move.

I hate this kind of shit. And I'm female. On top of that - if you get evicted from your residence, even if you are proven innocent, you can fucking bet there are people who will be like hey - isn't that so and so who got kicked out of x-dorm for being a rapist?

And I want to add - that with no further information, if I'm on that campus, and someone tells me that, since I will potentially be unable to find out more - I, as a wary female, will avoid said person.

This is why those who are falsely accused need to sue for every conceivable type of damage. No settlements with gag orders. Public civil trial, public penalties. Publicize everything about the case (public record). Chase the lying bitch to the ends of the earth for every dime she and her family have.

Because we all see the damage done to the falsely accused. What about the damage done to REAL rape victims? Every lying whore increases the doubts that REAL rape victims have to face.

How long until the guy getting great grades that is finally fed up with being used for his knowledge to boost the grades of the other females is accused of "rape" because she's mad.

Maybe this is the natural reaction women have to co-ed dorms.

If they can't stand men around, why not just use single sex dorms. Not much chance of him having to move and alot of relief from embarrasment by the females that can't face their one night stand because of shame.

It would be best to temporarily move the accuser/victim as it would not only separate them from the alleged perpetrator but also protect them from potential retaliation from the alleged's friends who would be living in the same dorm and not removed because there was no reason to.

I'm an RA at a private university and this isn't true (at least for my school). Any sexual assault accusations (between any genders) will probably result in one of the involved parties moving to a different residence hall, but unless actual charges are filed that's basically where the process stops.
