One tends to notice the [insert bad adjectives] men where the "just another young professional man" blends into the background.

My favorite part is when the author complains about men sitting on trains with their iPhones out. Seriously? I don't have an iPhone, but it's called technology. You didn't see people in the 50s using iPhones because there were no iPhones not because they were too man to use one, let's be real now >>

First, Don Draper would call Demi Moore a whore for marrying such a young guy. Then, he'd probably be extremely surprised that there is a woman getting paid more than a man in the first place.

Using 60's men as an example for how men now should act is retarded. Women weren't exactly considered people back then. It'd be like saying what would Thomas Jefferson think of Jim Crow Laws?

He'd say "hey I own slaves, they don't deserve the right to vote you idiots"

Because those were the customs and norms of the times.

i normally just sit and fume at such things. However, the comments pushed me over the edge. I created an account STRICTLY to tell these ladies they are at fault for their own creation.

Sure it will be lost in a sea of vagina and estrogen, but they will read it. And it may speak to someone.

Sounds like more daddy issues to me. "Men aren't mature enough!" I'm sure they aren't. Maybe if you spent less time analyzing Hollywood deadbeats and creeps on the train you'd see that men, as a whole, are exactly the same as they've always been. According to this, the female ideal is someone strong and brave and willing to do anything for you. What was that about being mollycoddled?

While I do think that many men are immature, so are women. And I don't know that widespread self-centered infantilism is a recent thing either. Certainly the use of technology or the way one sits is not an indication of one's maturity. I could barely stand to read the article.
