I honestly think that there should never be too much testosterone in one room."

And

The euro was given "fragile foundations" by its "founding fathers", she said. "Founding fathers not mothers, notice. Regrettably there was no woman at the table at the time... We are now working on [foundations] which are bigger, which are stronger."

It was published in the UK but I've seen similar versions and she has said similar things in other news media, the comments on that article are pretty bad too.

There was a study which correlated testosterone to risk taking behavior. It found that as T levels went up in men, risk taking behavior also went up... but only to a point. Above a critical T level, risk taking behavior leveled off and then eventually went down.

When they studied this in women, they found the same correlation. However, the researchers were not able to find the same critical level of testosterone which leveled off risk taking behavior.

But if you want an explanation of how she can say this... well you need look no further than the warning label of estrogen replacement drugs: One of the side effects is dementia...

Men and women are equal, right? Seems to me that both sexes have equal capacity to be greedy, corrupt, dishonest etcetera. At the same time, there are undeniable differences between the sexes. However, it is ultimately one's behavior that defines them; no matter what hormone is behind it. I expect world leaders to be expert at taking the high road and rising above this sort of thing especially because most people in this world are not; leading by example instead of speaking to childish human nature. Anytime a politician behaves this way (placing higher value on popularity over professional responsibility), I lose respect for them.

Men didn't cause the recent financial collapse. Greedy people did. The simple fact is that there are no women to blame for the financial collapse because there were only men in those positions. Had it been all greedy women, no one would dare say it's because of women or estrogen...people would most likely blame men for not "manning up" to help those poor women.

I'm a bit split on this. All the TBTF banks were male execs. While i usually would say 'blame game' doesn't help much, i think she may have a point. At the same time though, women in that situation (greed) would probably have done the same thing.
