What would you prioritize? Stability or an interesting life?

Let's say you're caught between the following choices. Let's assume both have the same height, are respectful of your boundaries and have a financially stable career with the exact same earning potential.

(A) Courteous and stable, but bland. No interesting hobbies and passions. Goes with the flow. No broader purpose to his life. Comes from a sophisticated, educated and well-off family.

vs

(B) Interesting conversationalist, passionate about a broader purpose, high social intelligence and strong sense of integrity. Comes from a poorer and uneducated family, but has worked hard to overcome his origins.

Which would you choose? When vetting, how does family background factor into your thinking? I.e. will your kids be better off being around sophisticated grandparents/ relatives vs will they suffer from being around uneducated relatives?

EDIT: This is a thought experiment. Just curious as to my FDS sisters' recommendations about how to factor in family when evaluating a guy.
