As a men's rights advocate you can't avoid being called a misogynist. you can change your tone as much as you want but just for being a men's advocate is enough to disqualify you.

Few years ago Rachid Boudjedra a famous Algerian novelist was asked in an interview if he is an atheist, he said yes. he received a backlash even from politicians in the parliament. for them you don't need to insult or criticize islam. just for declaring that you left the religion is considered an attack.

We are in the same situation here as men's rights advocates, when three students at Ryerson University (in Toronto) tried to start a men’s issues club. They were blocked by the student union, which associated the idea with supposed “anti-women’s rights groups” and dismissed the idea of sexism against men as an “oppressive concept”. The union passed a motion saying it rejects “Groups, meetings events or initiatives [that] negate the need to centre women’s voices in the struggle for gender equity”.

When people accuse me of misogyny i ask for proof and the examples they give are very disturbing, for example:

• just by posting in the subreddit "antifeminists" prove that i hate women.
• posting in "pussy pass" a subreddit about examples of female privilege.
• posting in "pussy pass denied" because that subreddit celebrate when men defend themselves when attacked by women. one feminist said "that subreddit encourage violence against women" ! self defense is a right, unless you are attacked by a woman according to these people.
• one said i post in subreddits with the mentality of "men are victims, women are the enemy " ! no one here said women are the enemy but for them just talking about men as victims mean you see women as the enemy.
• another said the statement "women can't ask for respect if they don't respect men in return" prove that i hate women. i said that in a post arguing that "teach boys to respect women and girls" is wrong and respect should be mutual.

The Canadian Association for Equality was considered hateful because of an event titled "Me Too: justice or a lynch mob" ! and the same feminist who accused me that i hate women literally said i should i hate the right demographic: white men. because white men are the cause of the problems according to him. he is also a white man.

Even Warren Farrell who is very moderate was called rape apologist and tried to shut down his lecture !!
