I gotta take a break from the internet after yesterday's post on offmychest where the OP said hating men is wrong and the post got brigaded by Pink Pill Feminazis making ad hominem attacks against a young girl, OP, taking a stand against unfettered hatred.

Pink Pill feminism: Defending the unfettered hatred of people based on immutable characteristics since July 2019.

It's disheartening. But this post makes me feel better.

As a trans man I support this message.

We are not Men Lite^TM . If you hate men, then you hate trans men. You can't make sweeping statements of hatred and then backpeddle every time an oppressed minority member reminds you that they are part of that group. Hating an entire gender is (obviously) wrong.

Don't worry lads, there are plenty of trans people arguing this very thing every day. Don't let the obnoxiously loud hive mind make you think that all or even most trans people don't support true equality.

Reason #million why I left mainstream LGBT groups. It killed me inside to hear "Oh yeah being trans is a-okay!" Followed shortly by "Fuck men, they're the worst... oh but not you Stock, you're different." Like, cool so you're a misandrist AND a low key transphobe. Good to hear.

I know a man who was a woman four years ago, and although he says he still agrees with most social justice theory he hears around him (on the arts academy) sometimes he realizes how hurtful men are treated by women. F ex when he walks the streets late at night, young girls start walking on the other side of the road. (I don't even notice it when it happens to me, but small things like that never happened to him when he was still a woman.)

Start treating men like human beings and not emotionless robot sex and death machines and almost all their problems go away over night.

Agreed, but it's a little sad if we have to argue that hating half the population is wrong because it also hurts half a percentage point of the population. It reminds me of how feminists will call-out TERFs for their transphobia while ignoring the misandry it's rooted in. A lot of the people who might be reached by this argument are never going to have real empathy for men, and the goal should removing them from positions of influence, not converting them.

I disagree with the entire concept that X suffered discrimination and now X is wiser and has greater perspective because she's seen both sides.

It's magical thinking. There's absolutely zero evidence that there's any correlation between the two.

My idea of leftism is that comfortable ideas like the above shouldn't be taken seriously until they have been tested by rigorous experiment conducted by scientists determined to disprove bad hypotheses.
