Hey so I’m having a rough ass time. My soon to be exwife is very manipulative, she’s always threatened me with divorce when we have big arguments. She said that she would take our son back to her hometown which is an hour away. I’ve supported her through this whole marriage and she just wants to walk away. While we agreed on an uncontested divorce 50/50 custody, she wants to move back home and enroll my son in headstart. He’s 2 years old. First of all she doesn’t have a job in her hometown, my mom is our babysitter, and she plans on quitting her job and finding a job down there. It’s unrealistic, I have an attorney and she doesn’t, I filed first but we agreed to have 50/50 custody 1 week trade. She stated that she is unhappy and her life feels like a lie. I don’t understand why she would be so selfish to destroy our family like that. During our argument I called the police to tell her that she said she was going to take him away from me and go home. I was going to file an EPO but I didn’t want to ruin her. She’s also off her medication and I have documentation of it. She has no money for a lawyer and doesn’t want to go to court. It’s absolutely stupid. What should I do? I’m paying rent on our place, while I’m living at my parents house out of trash bags. She’s manipulative, I told her I’m not going to be a weekend dad. I want to see my son, she’s ruining my life.
