I would not worry being behind in sex, that’s absolutely not a bad thing. But I do think you should figure out how to put yourself out there so you have some experience dating as in my opinion it is something that takes practice. It’s not something most of us are good at naturally. I read the surrendered single and it’s very good explaining how to put yourself out there and being accepting of opportunities that come your way for dates.

You can talk to and date men to try to find a good man, without hooking up. Men won't outright admit it, but they will still overwhelmingly prefer a woman with no sexual history to an "experienced" woman. Hence why women who are looking to marry make themselves look "pure" with longer skirts, and also lie about their "body count".

Don't do things you'll have to lie about later. Men want a woman who is beautiful, faithful, kind and nurturing. Cultivate your femininity and give yourself to the right man when it's time. I'm telling you the same things I would tell my daughter, as a father.

There’s no such thing as being behind. Everyone has their own journey.. life isn’t linear. Things don’t happen in a certain order. What you must focus on is expanding your knowledge in all aspects, and self evaluating. The goal is to attain the best version of yourself, not copy someone else’s trajectory.

I was also “super behind” for my age. I was extremely overweight growing up and didn’t come into my own until I was in my 20’s. Which worked to my benefit! When all my friends were having hookups I was working on bettering myself and wound up losing a ton of weight and gaining qualities that are way more attractive to this day!! Don’t be jealous!

Being behind in sex as a woman is good in perspective of a man. Also you only see the good sides of the relationship. Couples often don't get into yelling matches in public. There are plenty of couples who are happy in public but hate each other which is increasingly likely the more hookups they had since they are less likely to be satisfied in the relationship.

In 10 years they are the ones who will be jealous of you.

Sounds like you are just being made to feel anxious by a toxic environment. That girl - feels happy because she is wanted and desired - hookup culture triggered her emotional response - but it will end up leaving her wanting more. I'm of the opinion that sexual pleasure will completely evade a woman if she isn't attracted to her partner and her partner isn't invested in bringing her pleasure. Sex where you feel nothing, feel uncomfortable, or feel pain is very possible for a woman. I had a friend rush to lose her virginity because she felt like she was behind, and her experience sounded awful and sadly, not that uncommon.

It's worth the wait, and being inexperienced is likely to work in your favor in the long run.

Let me explain something. Men don't think about women the way women think about men.
Men don't want a woman that has been passed around and been promiscuous. Women don't mind as much. It's just the way we're wired.
If you want to meet someone and settle down in a few years, start looking for men that are a bit older and more well established than the men your age, and that have a mind toward commitment and marriage. An adventurous life filled with flings is not for everyone, and certainly not as fulfilling as you think. My daughter is a teenager, almost grown now. I certainly wouldn't want her to live the life that a lot of women I've known have lived, waste her best years and beauty partying, and then be washed up later. I'm in my early 40s and widowed, so back on the market again. I still date women in their 20s. I date women in their 30s and 40s as well. Do you want to know which ones I prefer?
I want to find one to have more children with, it's the way I'm wired. I like having a home and a family and a wife. The dating apps are so sad. I can't tell you how many women I see in their mid to late 30s and even 40s that don't have children but want them. It AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. It's tragic, really, but it's biology.
You're at your peak, as far as attractiveness to high value men, RIGHT NOW. It will last a few years, and then decrease. Rapidly. Even if you keep your looks. It's the way we're wired.

As someone said in one comment: Men are delighted by innocence, loyalty, and enthusiasm.

However as a women all you have to worry about if you wanna be sucesful in dating is mainly at your looks (To attract men to invite you to dates, etc) and how charming you are (To keep men).

So ask yourself honestly how good are you in that, and what can you do to improve.
