You sound conflicted between hooking up and "having children", since you say you'll resort to escorts. If you want more than sex, you will need to focus on actually connecting with people, where attraction and relationships grow. "Too expensive" makes it sound like you expect to take a girl out and then immediately get paid off in sex.

Children are born from relationships, and those grow over time, and with effort and connection. Find a hobby and connect with others in mixed company who share your interests. Growing your social circle leads to more possible connections, through their connections. NO one is entitled to anything, not sex or love or anything. Every successful relationship you see is built on hardwork and compromises, and far more than sex or attraction. Even when it comes to making friends, confidence in accepting who you are, and a zest for life, is what attracts others to want to be around you.

In my country it's okay to date colleagues. It actually happens quite often and given the last few company parties it will probably happen soon as I was the one who prevented it. But well, fuck it. In the worst case I'll change the company or I'll change the project.

Are you venting and testing to see if anyone cares about your feelings

Or

Do you want to discuss tactics, strategies, and obtain advice?

Or

Are you testing the emotional endurance of the people who will respond to you as a means of passing the time and having some form of human connection no matter whether it is positive or not?

I know people tend to go immediately into advice mode, but I think its important to meet people where they are at psychologically and emotionally by asking what they are wanting out of us by putting something out there. What are you looking for with this thread OP?

If your goal is to start a family, how have you prepared yourself economically, mentally, and spiritually? The vast majority of people underestimate the level of stress a child will put on them and their child's needs beyond the practical, and that isn't even accounting for if your child is born with a disability.

If what you want out of women is sex, then(this might be controversial) then do you feel shame in seeing a sex worker? You shouldn't.

If you want a relationship, what are the aspects of yourself that you feel push people away, and the aspects of yourself that draw them to you? Have you done this kind of examination and deep dive into your values, habits, traumas, insecurities, fears, strengths, etc. Within a therapeutic group setting or with a trusted professional?

This is gonna sound very edgy. It's very counter intuitive. But try to think about what you are doing when you create a new child. You are creating a version of you that will live probably live an unsatisfying life like most of us who's only real purpose for their existence is to be another employee in the economy. This kid will have anxieties, they'll have to figure out what to do with their life, and they may have a very difficult time dating just like you are right now. And it seems really likely that we're heading into a very dystopian future of high levels of inequality, climate change causing hundreds of millions of refugees, and jobs being slowly automated.

You know. Most people have kids because that's just what biology and society has programmed into us. And for sure, it gives a lot of people meaning in their lives. But think about how stressful, and the level of commitment of having to create a new being that didn't exist, and then shepherd them through life for at least 18 years(but don't kid yourself, the way things are going, kids are staying longer and longer with their parents).

It's probably not the end times, but it is certainly the end of an era and a beginning of a very unpredictable ride that we have no real manual for(because of how fast technology is changing).

And we will all die. One way or another, we and everyone we love and know will die. it's one of the curses of being alive.

With this shift in mindset, Dating will still be hard. But maybe you'll be able to cruise through life without the feeling of guilt and shame about being childless.
