Baby fever to young

I'm 18 too, I get the feeling. My only piece of advice is don't have sex with anyone who you wouldn't like as your baby's dad and who isn't willing to take care of you. Accidents happen, I've always followed that rule and although I've been scared of the responsability, I never feared the abandonment.

I know at this age guys are avoiding the babies conversation as much as they can but talk about it first, if a guy refuses to talk about it, don't obey your horniness, go for someone as mature as you and hopefully you'll have a healthy sex life and in the near future a baby.

Use that motivation to keep your eye on the prize. In order to have a baby, ideally you need to be comfortable financially. Babies are expensive. You also need a loving and supportive STABLE relationship ideally a marriage.

I’m 28 and due with my first in July. I met my husband at 18, got married at 22. We’ve worked hard, bought a big house, and traveled all over the country and taken a luxury tropical trip every single anniversary. We now have enough money and a stable enough life that I get to be a stay at home mom. I also have an incredible partner who is SO excited to be a dad and who will provide and extremely stable upbringing for our baby. There is NO way I’d have the life I have now if I rushed into having a baby without making sure other things were in place.

Of course people have babies young all the time, but if you want to travel, get a degree, get married (and have a good marriage), I’d really pump the brakes on a baby. Otherwise you can have a baby, but likely not any of the other wants you listed.

So keep focused on your goal, but take steps to setting yourself and your future child up for the life you guys deserve. And right now that requires patience and sacrifice.

I had my first at 24 and I am so happy! I am now 32 and can consider a fourth if I want one due to my age.

I don't think you're too young to consider having children; especially if you want to have a big family.

What you should consider is if you're emotionally ready and stable enough to have a child, right now/in the near future. I completely get being horny and that's perfectly natural but you should be making sure you're not letting your physical needs override your responsibility.

Let your baby fever sober you instead of cloud your thinking; you should be focused on finding the right man and to do that you need to make sure you're the right woman.

Don't fall into the trap of being promiscuous thinking it's going to attach a man to you; it won't. Make sure you're advertising yourself by being pretty, available but not slutty (meaning you're generally ebulliently friendly, even flirty with guys but take your time discerning which man is right for you before taking a big step), and feminine; take steps to make sure you're providing opportunities for a man to lead you; don't be bossy or controlling; show off any feminine skills you have like cooking, make sure the guy you like sees your choosing signals. Look for a man that is family-oriented or who makes it clear that he'd like to build a legacy.

Good luck, girl! You're in the right frame of mind by being in this sub and your youth and beauty are big assets, so you'll have an advantage in the dating market.

Going into ECE is a good way to help with the baby fever! I volunteered with babies when I was your age for the same reason.

If you don't trust yourself to be sexually active safely, make sure to get on sensible birth control that doesn't rely on you making good decisions in the heat of the moment.

Came here to say that actually, those feelings are possibly quite normal at your age, as progesterone and estrogen rise in the early twenties at least. Use those feelings to drive you forward into finding a great potential mate, husband, and father. Babies are great, yet get your fix with babysitting or becoming a nanny. That experience will only be a positive for your future self! Everything especially great is often sometimes got hard aspects to it, so go in with your eyes wide open! :)

In many cultures today, it’s still normal for women to get married at 18 and have long happy marriages. As long as you have family around to help (or can afford to pay for high quality babysitters/nannies), you can still go to school, travel, go out on dates, etc.

same except i just want the BABY now, not to be pregnant or have the sex required to become pregnant. i'm too young and having too much fun being pretty and naturally thin to commit to the new body-management that pregnancy would require. i'm probably gonna adopt at like 23 depending on how stable my partner's income gets before then tho lol

(edit; you can downvote me all you want and sex seems fun now but i'll be the one laughing when you all go through menopause and im the one with zero change to her already low libido)

I was like that too and am now 30 and nervous because I do want a baby, but I don't.

Don't rush into this decision.
