The placement of the female clitoris and the female orgasm itself remain somewhat mysterious, evolutionarily speaking. There is a lot of investigation and debates as to whether the female orgasm is vestigial or serves a biological/evolutionary purpose. There's just a lot we don't know.

I also question some of the narrative around women and orgasms from penetration. Not so much the numbers today, but what might be behind the numbers. Has greater stress and anxiety in modern life made it harder to orgasm from penetration? Do partner qualities and behavior impact orgasm from penetration rates? Can becoming used to direct clitoral stimulation from masturbation, vibrators and partners make it harder for women to achieve penetration orgasms?

This is not normative judgment. I just find it interesting. But ever since investigating female orgasm became somewhat popular, the overriding concern was to help make sure that women who did not orgasm from penetration did not feel abnormal or defective. So I feel a lot of lines of investigation have been cut off due to this understandable, but still ultimately dogmatic, concern.

At any rate, none of these academic questions matter much in terms of real life sex right now. If your girl wants to get off, get her off however best she likes it. Simple enough. I've never had problems making girls cum because it really isn't that hard unless the girl has a hang up or orgasming issue. However, there are different ways for a girl to cum, and some she may prefer. So just being able to give a basic orgasm isn't really proving much. That is just like Sex 101. Being able to give different types of orgasms in different ways--preferably surprising ones--is part of what makes a guy good in bed. I wouldn't presume how I rate on that score. Have to ask the ladies--if they can remember; been a while.

Women do in fact achieve orgasm they penetration. You have the G spot and the A spot/ deep spot. Certain positions and penis lengths makes it easier to do.
