Name, age, job, relationship status and whether he has children, who he lives with (pets/parents/ex/roommate...)

All the info in the categories on dating apps should be clearly viewable and up-front.

Age, height, weight (or clear, recent photo of body), marital status, what he's looking for, does he have kids, does he want kids. Smoker, drinker, weed, diet. Education, employment, religion. Current residential location (at least the city/county/state he's in).

If he hasn't filled any of these out, either he knows he's undesirable, or he's ready to lie to catch any woman he can once he finds out what she wants.

Pre-date phone call, ask what's his longest relationship, how long ago was it. Men (over 30) who have never had a relationship longer than 1 year clearly don't know how to boyfriend. Serial short-term bachelors keep getting thrown back and aren't learning.

Ask whatever else you like. Write down your values, goals and non-negotiables. Ask direct questions and bail if he can't or won't give a direct answer.

"How often do you shower, exercise, cook your own meals, look at porn?" The answer is a unit of time, not waffle about circumstances, usually, depends, "less/more than other men haha".

*Prior to date questions:

Has he been married?
What does he think about marriage?
How long ago and how serious was his last relationship (this is info. that men often disclose without direct prompting if you listen and let them blah blah blah)?
What's his position on having children?
Where do his parents live? Is he close to his father? Mother?
Places lived in the past
What do you want to be/do when you grow up? (relevant even for grown-ups... good for gathering intel on his interests, maturity, and personality.)

*Non-negotiables (some of this info. I find out before a date, and cross them off my list):

Speaking negatively about women, including exes.
Having/wanting children (personal preference).
Smoking (anything)
History of drug use (not always known prior to the first date, but sometimes their FB profiles have substance use references)
DUIs and/or reckless driving/speeding tickets --found via public record searches

Honestly, do not ask what you want to know directly. That gives men the chance to lie, and figure out your priorities by the thrust of your questions. Exception is basic, verifiable demographic info (like full real name, employer, height, weight, age, marital status, does he have kids or not, religion he was raised in etc).

If a guy passes the basic demographic vetting and takes you on an acceptable first date,be pleasant and welcoming. Try to put him at ease. Then listen closely to what he says and what he asks you, and watch his reactions to what you say. After that date write down what you remember (factually speaking) and journal on your impressions. Men broadcast their priorities and opinions all over the place. It’s usually easy to find 80-90% of red flags this way. The rest is vetting over time so see if the mask slips, and running full background checks if things get serious enough to warrant that.

Before date Whether he has kids.(snoop about this hard, scrotes lie) Whether he has been married(snoop about this hard) What are his hobbies and ambitions(I had a grown ass man say 'nothing just vibing'. Never blocked someone so quickly) And always his full name and age. Go on a whole searching rampage. Comb through the whole Internet, every criminal database, every social media.

On date His general goals in life(again 'just vibing' is not a goal) His opinions on pornography and woman's rights His relationship with his family His friends

Who he voted for in the last election, what he thinks about climate change, abortion rights (gives me an idea of how left or right he is.)

His longest relationship, who he lives with, if he's employed (gives me an idea of how much of an adult he is.)

Where I am, we have to show proof of vaccination along with an ID card to get into restaurants and other venues. 100% ask to see his ID card at that point in time if you met online. I’ve done this even before the pandemic. Can’t be too careful with all the liars out there.
