Do you keep ANYTHING from your S/O, at all?

I’m open with anything that he asks about. There are somethings he wants me to keep to myself to keep the “mystique” alive.

I’m completely open with my husband about everything. Sometimes I think I should be less so, to keep some mystery alive lol. But yeah, he’s my best friend.

That doesn’t mean I tell him every detail of everything - when I go out with my girlfriends I don’t feel the need to recount every detail of what we talked about and did, but I would never keep anything from him.

I think I don't keep anything purposely from him. It is more like he decides what to take and what not to. I know it sounds weird but let me try to explain it.

-If I explain something about my life twice and he keeps assuming that it didn't happen that way I just say "yeah whatever" to avoid any conflict.

-If I know it will be very difficult for him to understand it I tell him a simplier sequence of events.

-I don't tell him the real names of people because I know he won't remember them so we have nicknames for everyone according to their roles in our lives.

-If he asks something I answer, if he doesn't ask, it means he doesn't care, so I don't bring it up (he will always ask anything he wants so I know that if he isn't asking something it was never on his mind).

-I never do anything really bad, like I am a good girl overall haha, never done anything I can't share with him so I will always answer sincerely and there aren't things I need to disclose to avoid misunderstandings.

I’m pretty open and honest about everything, sometimes to a fault. I was very liberal and an obnoxious feminist when we first got together and I thought it was appropriate to tell him my n count and prior sexcapades, which I regret doing. He doesn’t bring it up or anything but I can tell it made him uncomfortable and I wouldn’t advise other women to disclose that to their SO’s. We both have become RP’d and traditional since then(we’ve been together for four years). I’d say to other women that anything such as disclosing prior sexual experiences would be something I’d keep from my SO’s, it is emasculating and often unnecessary(unless it was something such as SA).

I have been married for 12 years. I feel like I should start with If he asked me I would be honest, that said there are many things he doesn’t know about my childhood because I don’t want him to think negatively about people I have forgiven and are still in my life. I also don’t tell him all my fantasies/dreams/goals because he has weaponized them against me in the past. I also am careful as to when he sees me. Almost every woman I know let’s their husband see them use the washroom or just getting changed or whatever I am careful and don’t do that I want him to see me in an attractive way not these mundane or unattractive moments.

I tell him pretty much everything, but I do hold back a bit on past stuff with exes, and certain topics he just doesn’t care about or that we each keep private. We have discussed our pasts with each other and I don’t hide anything from him, but it’s not like he needs a play by play. We’re very open with each other and I like it that way. If he asked I would tell.

I’m completely open with my boyfriend. I suppose there are some details about my life that I haven’t went into detail about (childhood abuse) but pretty much anything and everything outside of that I’ve been an open book.
