Why do PUA coaches and Manosphere Gurus bash each other so much, is it because they are fighting for money?

Most PUAs don't really engage the red pill community. Todd V, Julian Blanc, James Marshall, you name it. They may make a token video as to WHY they disagree with certain aspects of red pill, but that's as far as it usually goes.

Pickup teaches theory, yes, but PUAs tend to be highly pragmatic and only focuses on a specific theory if it benefits you infield.

Red Pill seems heavier on the theory side and consequently, may delve into other manosphere circles a bit more.

Well of course. It’s a competition over who is going to get the money from the market of these men who feel disenfranchised. Plus it’s a pretty toxic concept so I would assume it would breed a toxic environment. Just a bunch of dudes faking the funk.

because yes as you said, they're competing to market their own grifts to the same pool of idiots, trying to get that market share, and because enormous, fragile egos are rampant in those circles, so they get angry at each other, which sounds pretty "beta" to me honestly.

For the same reason people bash the other group in this sub.. difference ideological views, the bigger the difference the bigger the hate towards the othee group

Blackpill is defined by "It never even began, there's no point" and PUA is "you haven't hit on enough women/git gud noob"

As you can see these are opposing ideologies, its not suprising to see them hating each other

Meanwhile, in other industries or enterprises the other guys are engaged in a much more "collaborative effort" to solve the student's problems. I can think of fields where people are "adding" to the solution. While in this field it seems people are taking away

The dating game isn't civil or logical its mostly based on emotion.. people who roam on these subs aren't the ones who've had very positive experiences, so the bigotry is very accepted into their belief system

But I dont think the Manosphere hates each other, they just view the other as very stupid for their ideas. Bluepillers hate the Manospher and vice versa, opposing Manospherans view other as incredibly dumb

There are a number of reasons. You have stated the first one but it is a bit more nuance than that.

The PUA space is one the most unregulated spaces out there where literally anyone can go and claim to know how to get women. Anyone can pick up a camera and become a PUA Podcaster talking about how good they are with women. So the PUA Podcaster need to find a way to stand out.

THey can't advertise results, they have to fight eachother to prove for marketshare. I mean there is no real way to prove that they have every had success with women especially in the youtube space where you could pay anyone to claim anything. Or on top of that the whole day game argument of getting a phone number but never showing replies or dates or sex. This is for good reason but it makes it impossible to distinguish fakes from reals except with the eye test. So it is very possible some of the real PUA people are just showing out the fakes.

It is also because they are peddling the same product each. Unlike dating coaches who have different niches ( conservative, liberal, same sex ), PUA's all have the same market (sexually unsuccessful men). So one viewers success is ultimately another one's failure.

So on one hand, it could be the actually successful PUA's policing the PUA space to make sure fakers (Fresh and Fit etc) do not prosper and give bad info.

On the other hand it could be for money depending on the context

Can you provide examples? Because I don't see a lot of that going on in PUA. Sure, there's a few guys who love to talk shit. But they're more the exception. There's one guy in particular who's a PUA coaching who seem narcissistic and holds decade-long grudges. He's a major exception, though. I don't watch his stuff. Usually PUA coaches don't even mention the existence of other coaches.

There's also a lot of debate about what attracts women. The blackpill are all "it's all about looks, nothing else matters". Other people say it's looks, status, money. Bluepill is all "just be friendly and nice". Other people are just telling guys to make approaches and get comfortable with that and it's all a numbers game - because there's LOTS of young guys who are very scared of approaching women who are complete strangers. PUA coaches can vary their approach depending on which philosophy they lean towards. There's a LOT of debate about what's the best approach to meeting women. This is all happening, of course, in a world where men get the short end of the stick in dating, and where women are not forthcoming or aware about what actually works. So, of course there's going to be tons of debate. It's the same reason that people debate politics.

Some PUAs are lying about results because pretending to get awesome results is a good marketing tactic. This pisses some people off. Wouldn't it piss you off if your competitor was lying about his products? For example, one PUA was making a promotional video and he hired a woman to act like she was receptive to his pickup attempt. He passed this off as real. Another guy on audio was caught telling his "girlfriend" that she wouldn't get paid if she didn't stick around. There was also the whole Fresh & Fit this that came up recently where one of the guys (who's "red pilled") was telling some woman that she would have to sleep with him if she wanted to be on his show. That's just bully tactics, and that guy goes around talking like he knows what he's talking about when it comes to getting women. If you're a PUA coach, wouldn't it piss you off if your competition was lying about the effectiveness of their coaching? In some cases, you don't actually know if a guy is lying about his results, but you suspect he is. Even if he were completely truthful about his results, it will still lead to conflict if people believe that he's lying.

I don't even think it's about the money. There's plenty of guys - who are not paid and do not own a PUA business - who argue about these things online.

This comment section also has too many people responding who don't know anything about the PUA space, but are merely using it as an opportunity to throw some insults around.

Well they are not really for helping people but for making money.

It is something like destroying the competition.

And if they see that they can't destroy the competition then they do collaboration.

But it's not just them. Other companies are doing it all the time. Samsung made plenty of ads to mock apple.

But in this manosphere they might want to prove they are "more alpha" than the other one.

Pickup artists teach you how to be someone you’re not. Red pill teaches you to be someone you want to be. Red pill teaches accountability and pua sees it as an obstacle. Obviously not going to be a lot of love between the two.

that actually started somewhat recently, they used to be all buddy buddy with each other. there was some type of big dramatic split between PUA's due to rollo tomassi doxxing a bunch of people to a feminist reporter and after that they all started tossing shit, doxxing each other, and threatening to sue. youtube might have taken a lot of it down but you can probably still find some of the shit talking on john anthony lifestyle's youtube channel. it was fucking hilarious while it lasted watching those idiots tear each other apart, it seems like its all kind of over with

Because it's a business and there can only be one top guy in town, fundamentally they all probably agree, but only one of them can be number 1.

It's why the likes of Fresh n Fit have gotten into legal and copyright drama with other Red Pill creators, they may agree but FnF want to be the top game in town, they're one of the more popular podcasts on YouTube for a reason.

I dabbled in the pick up world and for the most part these are guys who genuinely like women and just want to have more choices when it comes to dating.
