The unreasonable expectations on men create many exceptional men. The same expectations cause many men to drop out and stop trying.

Women aren’t judged on their success the way men are. Society wants homeless men. Society wants male suicide.

In 1974, America passed the Women’s Educational Equity Act which gave feminists the authority and funding to influence education to focus on girls. There have been other anti-male policies and practices since. Yet article after article acts as if it’s some grand mystery why boys are doing worse in education.

The resistance to acknowledging easily verifiable discrimination against males in education astonishes and frustrates me to no end.

Women are not only more looked after by society, but if they fail miserably in their careers, they can always marry a wealthy man. They may need to date down in terms of attractiveness, but it’s a safety net that simply isn’t as available for men.

Women can also work safely from home without skill. OnlyFans (don’t even need to show face), phone sex, selling jarred farts (literally) or panties, etc.

It’s just not the same for men, even if the same options technically exist for them, albeit to an extremely lesser extent.

Men aren't obligated to provide for others. If they choose to opt out of being a provider and going their own way, they are entitled to do so.

The male version of "strong independent woman who don't need a man." That for some reason people aren't comfortable accepting.

Okay, sure.

Extended cohabitation with parents is an important men's issue. Men who don't leave the house in their early twenties - and ideally, late teens - fall further and further behind and end up isolated, depressed, and probably unable to ever really succeed.

This problem does not really apply to women. A 25 year old woman will not ruin her life by living with her mom. A 25 year old man will.

Not sure if it's controversial.

But i don't see things being done/discussed in mrm to address the biggest problems like ...death.

1) men die more than women due to dangerous jobs, wars etc.

2) men commit more suicide

3) men are victims of violent crimes and also prisoners.

And some of the problems come from capitalism and so its like everyone has just accepted that it's going to happen.

Quite frequently i see anti feminism being discussed which is part of the problem but most of the above significant problems don't come from feminism.

Most controversial...

Most mens rights issues are created through the fact most men care more about women than themselves.

More men get attacked / killed. Prisoners attack other prisoners that attacked women.

Father's lose custody. Because women are better at being a parent.

UK at least: women often get cheaper insurance. Cause men are more wreckless drivers.

Less female homeless, cause they need the house more.

Etc etc.

Until most men come into contact with a situation they are discriminated against in. They won't even believe the possibility that they are or could lose out for that. And they are also causing it.

For example. My wife likely won't get robbed at night, cause I actively go in her stead as I know it's a rough neighborhood... Making me a more likely statistic...

Controversial? I think women and men have it just as bad. Recent times have been a mixed bag for men. They have wives who work, pay less child support and alimony and don't have to stay in bad marriages. I think women are happy working...go let them.

I think men would benefit from taking responsiblity for helping other men. I do it online and have for 40 years. I raised my son online with the help of a great group of guys guiding me legally and otherwise.

But men aren't victims and that would be a great way to stand out from feminism, a true victim philosophy.

Also, I think about 40% of women don't even identify as feminist (I'm sure they like the perks), 40% are what I call equality feminists, and 20% radical feminists. This means the pendulum will eventually swing back probably led by the mothers of sons.

Half the problems we have been heard are because we push the narrative that all women are bad. Just like feminists push, all men are bad.

Call out the bad behaviour, but it's never all women all the time.

I think my most controversion opinion is that conservatives truly do not support MRM.
They do support some aspects like fair custody laws, reforms for family courts, legal rights to falsely accused.

But are in complete opposition when it comes to issues like MGM, gender-neutral draft laws,gender neutral rape and DV laws, paternity fraud and financial abortions..

So, I don't believe they are completely for MRM.

(That doesn't mean the left is any better. In fact, the left is even worse, but they do support issues like MGM nd gender neutral draft.)

To the MRM my most controversial opinion is that male disposability is a fact that must be accepted.

To the world my most controversial opinion is that men must be respected and compensated for bearing that disposability.

To both my most controversial opinion is that while I want to alleviate what motivates people to suicide, I fully support everyone's freedom to commit suicide.

As important as men's rights are, it should sometimes take backseat when compared to other more important issues like national security and the economy.

It's commonplace to bash policies like the draft, e.g., by saying that the draft should be abolished for everyone. I come from a country which does impose male-only conscription (and having done it myself), and unfortunately, can't think of a reasonable alternative to it.

It's incredibly unfair and there are serious repercussions with women taking men's service for granted, but the alternatives all have even more drastic consequences on national security. Unfortunately, feminists know this all too well, and are happy to propose policies like abolishing the draft, or suggesting that all women should serve, even though the logistics would be an absolute nightmare, on top of being incredibly unpopular amongst women (of course, they aren't actually campaigning strongly to change women's mindsets!). They know full well that any sane, well intentioned policymaker wouldn't go along with it. This enables them to proceed on, claiming how egalitarian they are, and how it's really "the men in charge" who are refusing to adopt their genius ideas. You know the drill...

That the reason most modern men don't commit suicide is because we care too much about the people who rely on us. Not because we actually want to keep living.
