As others have said, you have a lot of areas you can work on outside of relationships first.

If you absolutely love your job, then don't change it. But not having enough money for therapy is a sad thing. So maybe explore possible side hustles.

Although, I imagine you're not married to your career, so I would strongly recommend throwing out applications to better paying/better hours type jobs. Especially now with the worker shortage. You really could take advantage of circumstances. Hey, not everything about life has to be stacked against you. Sometimes we have a golden opportunity. We just have to be brave enough to use it!

As for your hobbies. What about sports excites you? Because there's a lot of women's sports, and sports women tend to gravitate towards. If you're just looking for "high energy" there's a lot of options.

The same thing applies to video games. A LOT of women play video games. So maybe explore different games until you find one where a lot of women play.

No one is forcing you to play very specific male dominated video games. Perhaps you can get just as much fun out of other video games with a larger female demographic. If the only reason we play games is to "have fun," then most games can give you fun. Just find the ones that check the most boxes. Fun and have women players!

Other than those specific things, welcome to adulthood my friend. I promise you MOST people struggle with time management. Being too busy with work to date? Preaching to the choir, except most people sacrifice their hobbies. How many men are out there working full time only to come home to helping out the family? Say good-bye to your hobbies if you're looking to have kids!

I'm kidding of course, time-management is something that can be improved on. And people can have relationships, careers, kids, and hobbies. But to be that great of a juggler is an exception to the human race -- not the norm. So don't feel intimidated if you don't master it.

The best thing about being an adult is YOU GET TO CHOOSE which things matter the most to you, and you can pour your time and energy into them. If you decide dating is your top, number-priority, then you sacrifice your career a bit. Dump your shitty hours job and get a first shift job with weekends off. Typically a factory job fits that bill. Then you're open all afternoon and the weekends.

If you decide that career is more important, then you miss out on dating and work extra long hours and on the weekends, because grinding up the corporate ladder ain't easy. Or if you're trying to juggle college and full-time. Ha, have fun with dating. But you have the choice to decide what to chase.

If you want to focus on hobbies, you can do that too. You rarely get "it all," and don't delude yourself into thinking you're going work full time, and enjoy your hobbies at home while your dream wife caters to you. Chances are you'll end up working full time, and spending your afternoon doing relationship things. Going shopping. Watching movies you're only mildly interested in, and compromising on everything else.

Life is a lot of fun, because you have power and control over the direction. But you can't get everything. Enjoy what you have, and enjoy the things you can accomplish. You got this!

You're gonna have to start approaching women. While you're going about your day, if you see a women who you find pretty, and who obviously isn't super busy and who isn't boxed in. Just go up to her, say you saw her doing xyz and that you wanted to introduce yourself. Then just talk to her, and see if she's someone you'd want to get to know more. Don't be a creep, be friendly, and don't overstay your welcome. It's really hard at first, and you have too commit to it because you'll have to approach a lot of women in order to find some (we're talking maybe 1 in 100 approaches will translate into something long term).

But, what you'll find is eventually, you're going to get insanely good at talking to people, you're not going to be bitter and needy in relationships anymore because you'll believe on an emotional level that you can meet your needs without luck which will cause you to become very confident, and you won't be bitter and depressed anymore.

Inb4 women don't want to be approached in public like this. Some dislike it, many find it very flattering, some are indifferent. Just don't be a creep, don't over stay your welcome, and don't approach them when they're obviously in a rush and there's literally nothing on their end to complain about.

It's all good. You're still so young. Just focus on building yourself, exercise, diet, hobbies, save well, find more of yourself, then in time, you'll find someone with much higher quality than if you're trying to find someone now.

Oh man, go into construction or something. At least you’ll get weekends and sociable hours. Then find hobbies that overlap with the interests of women, that get you mixing with the opposite sex in a natural manner. Doesn’t matter what it is, it won’t appeal at first, broaden your horizons like, it’s not comfortable growing.

Quit that Janitor job, get some part time job elsewhere, invest in your education in something else, preferebly something that has an high employment rate and is well paid. You deserve better than cleaning trash for a living.

Your goal shouldn't be to just have a gf. She'll sense that you need it and that'll repel her. Women should be the cherry on top. A wholly unnecessary ass-essory. Sounds harsh, I know, but that's just the way it goes. A man can change a woman's life overnight, doesn't work the other way around. Fortunately, as a man, the better you do the more women will be at your disposal (as opposed to women, when they do better, it lowers their available pool of possible mates, since they need a man who's above her, height is the most obvious representation of this, but it's one of those things that's thru and thru).

The world is your oyster. But when you get one don't change what you were doing. I made the mistake of always going for the best I could, but I could never maintain it for long. It's not the best, but on a scale of 1-10, if you're a 5 it used to be that you could pretty comfortably rely on securing a 3, but with the advent of social media and little girls being told they deserve the best from day 1 (while shaming little boys for just as long, telling them they were lucky to get anything, fortunate to pay for dates and everything after, etc) it's added a point or two to that. I know it may sound absurd, unbelievable even, but you'll have women that a 1s, that couldn't be classified any lower, being iffy on an average guy. Dating stats back this up. Roughly 80% of matches go to the top 20% of guys. And, since they're guys, and flush with options, they aren't looking to stop the good times. These ladies are willing to share a guy they deem "worth their time" than have a "lesser" guy all to themselves. It can be confusing considering they always seem to be asking where have all the good men gone. But that's crucial. Men outside this top crust don't factor into their considerations. Couple that with self-esteem bordering on self-delusion being higher than at any other time, they really think they can "change him", "fix him", get him to "give up on his ways". There's a bit of a dissonance here since guys are supposed to be lucky to have women, but it's trumped by women having chosen these men (see preselection). Sometimes the best way to catch a fish is with a fish. Paradoxically, these guys don't have to bother with all the nonsense we've been fed - various forms of supplication - and it actually helps them stick out. Take the same guy, have him do anything for a woman, then have him do the opposite and the latter will see better results. It's not really something you should place all that much weight onto, a lot of it's pretty middle school. That is, til the point they have to settle down, so they're done "having fun" and that the best a lot of guys can hope for.

So pick your lane and go for it. But always make it first. Cause if you lose focus you may lose what got you the girl, with the girl being soon to follow. It's one of those things where the less you care, the better.

work on yourself first - hit the gym, establish a social circle and really get out of your way and make time to socialize - its tough at first, but you’ll adapt and look forward to all of these. You’re 24, still have a lot of time and you should be building the right habits
