I’m more concerned with the Supreme Court using “originalist” theory to strip reproductive rights from women, than I am concerned about a women deleting her dating app. She has every right to be infuriated and also scared of dating a man that can get her pregnant. If she’s Bi, she has every right to seek out a female partner.

As for the originalist theory I mentioned, looking at the constitution through the lens of founding fathers and determining that only rights outlined in the original document are real rights is insane. The original document allowed for slavery. Women and non land owners couldn’t vote. Women were basically property. Alito is basically saying that a right has to be 250 years old to be a right, which is a dangerous precedent considering how backwards The USA was in 1776

So “reproductive rights” means the right to kill your child? I’m not against abortion, but I’m against people who call abortion the sum total of their reproductive rights. If someone thinks “reproductive rights” is synonymous with the legality of abortion, I would have serious doubt about dating that person.
