I saw a lot of men talking about the recent court trial and how they went through similar things with their ex-partners.

I know what that's like and what kind of place that can bring you to so I figured I'd point them to some resources that are available if they need help.

This is what I posted (in response to someone talking about how there are no shelters for men):

There are next to no shelters for male abuse victims and it's not taken seriously at all

There are a handful run by men's groups.

The NCFM has one in California and CAFE has one in Toronto (called men and families).

If you need help, it is out there. Even if it's just over the internet or on Reddit.

Please don't suffer in silence.

My comment doesn't show up though because something in there is blocked by the sub.

I even took care not to use the phrase "men's rights" because I know how some places are about that.

But to censor the NCFM or CAFE, both of which run domestic violence centers for men (and do a lot of other things), is a new low.

If you want to know what institutional oppression looks like, this is it.
