I think your statement is inaccurate. An unconstitutional ruling was overturned today. It was inevitable. States are now free to rule as they choose. Some states will ban abortion, most won’t. This is not a matter of a fundamental human right. This is a matter of constitutional law, of state’s rights and it’s specifically a right for women, not humans. It’s not about equality for all.

I certainly understand why pro-lifers are upset, but this ruling should be recognized as the constitutional ruling it is. It’s not taking away a human right. This ruling doesn’t take away any right. It’s recognizing states rights in the matter.

Object if you want, but don’t expect to misrepresent what this ruling is and not be called on it.

Women aren't 'fighting for their rights' today. For starters, the abortion issue is split pretty evenly on the gender line. I could make a similar post on how men are out there fighting for their right not to have their children killed, but I won't. Being pro-choice or pro-life isn't about being a man or a woman. Abortion is a complicated issue and its fine to come down on one side or the other, but anyone phrasing the debate as '' they vs women' is just being a misandrist asshole.

Second, there is no guaranteed right to kill a baby. Women have had the privilege of doing so, and in most states will still be able to do so, but abortion is and should remain a privilege not a right.

If you want to be pro-choice so be it, but one, be more honest about it. And two, personally I don't think this forum is the best place to have posts dedicated to one stance or the other.

Look, i wanna upvote this because i believe men should fight for their rights, but can anyone tell me what rights women dont have that men do? What are they actually fighting for? Say something convincing, not things like "the right to walk safely at night" (men are the most frequent victims of violent crime, btw). Basically, any right she lacks that a small, weak man would not also lack. (fyi, with like 20+ forms of female birth control, adoption, abandonment at safe places, abortion isnt even the issue here)
