So usually we (the entire female gender) meet around once a year, it used to be in person but since covid we shifted to zoom (foods and drinks were always nice) … anyway at this secret conference we decide on what we like, what we dislike, which men are attractive (height, money, status) and then we completely unify our behaviour to that decisions, no place for individuality or personality we just become one homogeneous block of flesh. And then we wait around for next years meeting to form a new decision.

It depends on the question. Most women have no issues with admitting that they consider financial aspect of their LTR partner or that they at least have some financial bar for their LTR partners.

They are honest if you watch what they do instead of listening to what they say. Anyway this whole farce where women forgiving about financial or social standing seems to be a reddit thing, most women I meet IRL are very open about their preferences.

Because like with men, that comes with a lot backlash that women would prefer to avoid.

You can make the argument that women are perhaps more sensitive to judgment, but I think men can be the same in other areas.

Our western culture has meticulously crafted a narrative which says women are the virtuous, deep, romantic etc. gender. Hence why women absolutely hate it when they appear shallow or self-serving. It's even worse when they are called out on it. In the end it results in all sorts of mental gymanstics to thoroughly deny any shallowness and/or blame it on the counterparty, usually men.

Example: women claiming they don't reject short men for being short but because they're "insecure about being short". Non-falsifiable, blames man, saves face. Easy.

Women are naturally less blunt or honest than men. This is a trait they likely got through evolution as girls were practically defenceless and had to rely on the good graces of those in charge for survival. This is why they have suchu affinnitiy towards things like make-up, #fatacceptance, photoshop, snapchat filters and plastic surgeries. If you can't already tell to women image is everything, they are not going to sacrifice and image they work hard to garner so they can get a thumbs up for men they don't care about anyway.

There's another point to add here, though, which I don't think has been mentioned. We aren't giving advice just to men we date, we are also giving advice or facts to random internet men who are dating different women and have different struggles. Most of the men on here will not be helped by discussions about their status or money. There's a rule: if you say something, it should be at least 2 out of three things- kind, necessary, or truthful. This isn't a rule only women should follow. Men should follow this, too. "Women care about money and status" is literally only truthful- at best. Maybe the next time men think about saying "I hate fat women," they could check themselves and see if their "honesty" is really required.

How do you think men on here can be benefitted in kindness or helpfulness by women talking about our financial or status standards? Personally, I see a lot of men on here praising the 50/50 payment relationship standards... Or even more slanted towards the man. It doesn't sound to me like this is something men have trouble understanding. I'm not even convinced, frankly, that women care more about this stuff than men do. I guess the difference is that physical attractiveness IS men's definition of a woman's "status," according to them. And they'll still want a woman to pay for a lifestyle with money, too. Hint: if a man says he doesn't care about a woman's financial plan, it's because he's not making any future plans with her at all. She's just around for a night.
