For hot women it’s super important. I live in the most vain part of the country and I can confidently say that high status is the most important trait that the really attractive women look for. It’s like catnip to them lol

Kim K is a celebrity, I'm sure she gets harassed by your average Joe paparazzi regularly. It makes sense that she at one point chose someone that she sees around - and your average middle class dude can't just pick up and leave his job to go to France for the week lol.

You're taking a small portion of men that attract a small portion of women in a specific social circle. Rich famous dudes, even crazy ones, will attract people who are either 1. stupid and think the red flags are no big deal, 2. opportunists who think they can be in this situation to get as much as they can from their association with the crazy dude before anything happens to them (they may be very calculating or stupid) or 3. other crazy people.

Same goes for any other dude that's a walking red flag. Your local drug dealer isn't going to attract a nice doctor who has a house in the suburbs, they're not going to attract the corporate lawyer with a penthouse. They're not going to attract your average schoolteacher either. They're going to attract women in their own socio-economic group who view the guy with the most money to be the most successful guy around and they'll go for him. They'll also attract women who are also walking red flags.

And this doesn't just apply to women - dudes will date an absolute nightmare of a woman if she's hot. Those men are also usually stupid and/or crazy. I don't understand how you're surprised that unbalanced individuals attract other unbalanced individuals.

Imo, no. Status doesn't mean shit and has no bearing on attractiveness of a man.

This is just my personal take, that I do not experience any attraction based on status and/or money. Obviously some women do but I don't know what their reasoning would be to literally have it alter their perception of a man.

Insane ppl often (very often) are drawn to other insane ppl ...there are tons of insane women out there too ...ppl are attracted to what feels familiar, if you come from a crazy family crazy ppl feel like "coming home"

90% of the time ppl told me about their "crazy spouse" somewhere along the story they acted crazy too
