She's asking for full custody so the attacks are going to be thick and fast and brutal.

A smile you gave her one time where your teeth were showing scared her and made her feel like she's under threat.

That one time you walked into the bathroom, touched her butt and kissed her neck made her feel like she was your property.

It's all designed to make Mary Poppins look like jack the ripper.

Your lawyer, if they are worth the money, will see this coming a mile away and use it to their advantage, this is not about the kids it's about money.

If you are a good father she will already know that, she will also already know as the kids grow up it's highly likely they'll get pissed off with her and want to be with you full time. What she's doing now is stopping that issue before it even happens.

She will go for blood, make no mistake about that, she will use every tool she can, character assassination will be the primary weapon.

She will flout rulings to allow you to see or have your kids, she will do that to hurt you financially and emotionally. The kids will become weapons.

Do not give in to this, if you turn up to get your kids, and she says they are busy or you can't see them etc. Don't get angry, just make sure knows that it's being documented.

Document everything, to establish patterns of her behaviour so that can be presented to the court.

Unfortunately, it is probably better to ask how you will NOT be attacked.

It all depends on how your STBXW chooses to handle things. So far, it is not looking good with her asking for full custody. Have you asked her why?

Accusations of abuse (verbal, emotional, financial, physical, sexual) of her or the kids are probably the biggest issues you could face.

Depending on your state, you will have to look up these laws, secretly audio record everything when you are around her. If you can install cameras in your home that would be good as well. Do NOT let her provoke you into losing your temper.

Fight for 50/50 custody.

If you don’t have a lawyer yet, get one.

Hire a lawyer now. I am so over this false accusation shit I see from women all the time I might even consider calling the police and telling them she said she lie in court and accuse you. This way at least you have a police report that you warned them.

If she doesn't make any false accusations you don't need to use the report.

During my divorce, my ex threatened to get various people to say that I was doing very bad things(tm) to my kids unless I gave in to a list of her demands, which I got the whole conversation on voice recorder.

My Attorney was estatic, and when I asked if I could share it with the local police so that it would protect me, she said they wouldn't listen or care, but that having it would get me out of jail in just a couple days, instead of the nearly 4 weeks it took for another client of hers who's ex made the same false charges.

WTF?!?!?!?! Even with a recording of extortion threats, I would still be in jail if she made the accusations. That's how tilted the system is against men.
