So no huge surprises here, STBX is pushing mediation back again. Together 17 years, married 12 years. She asked me to move out Oct 2021 and took off her ring. I ultimately filed Feb 1 2022. So April was too soon, her attorney withdrew in June, new attorney push until Sept.

Was suppose to be Sept 7th. But now ask to push back to 'sometime' in November. As her new attorney feels we can save the cost of mediation and work out a deal prior 🙃

Basically this is just them trying to maintain the status que. We need to sell the house and she refused to talk so missed the peak of the market. I'm paying a ton in temporary spousal support; so really I get her POV; it makes sense to drag things out as much as possible.

But we have a court date Jan 3 2023. If we get close to that I'm inclined to just take my changes with the judge. The law is pretty clear: 50/50 division of all assets & debts + spousal support. Clearly judge can be unpredictable, but trying to sell house in Jan or Feb??? Likely better than Nov and Dec 🤷‍♂️
