This was originally a comment to a post. I promise this is NOT a criticism of bad faith nor an anti MRM one as I am myself a MRM gay man. The comment was originally for FeMRAdebates, but I couldn't post it there and I thought I made a decent point

Ngl the Men's movement's biggest issue from argumentative stand point is simple:

Lack of centralized categorization of issues with resources and lack of academic authority to put feminist theory under scrutiny.

Those are core issues and can spawn the other issues:

The lack of categorization and solid collection of knowledge means that often outdated, not quite correct and often not well referenced information gets propagated. There is no way to spread information effectively, and this is why often MRAs in "Online debates" can look silly. A feminist has easy to remember categorized resources. Mras have to sift and find their sources in a soup and through search engines that suppress information. While in text debates the difference is smaller because time lets someone prepare for each point, in a rapid fire debate, like a live stream the lack of basis makes us weaker.

The lack of authority means questioning of feminist resources and criticism of them, cannot be done in a significant scale. Feminism has authority to do that, but no outside criticism, thus making the easiest circle jerk.

Examples: The UN equality index model has been criticized a lot, but because there is no academia voices that can tear it down, and just sociology savvy men online, we cannot push a better model.

Same goes for the old 1 in 4 women SA'd study which feminists defend as the only study that used "trained professionals in assessing SA status", yet any criticism of the validity of study because of the several conflicts of interest including the main feminist Mary P Koss, which has anti man extremist views and extremely biased views in the area of Rape ( She refuses to call female on male rape even sexual assault. She calls it unwanted contact. Also she treats dubious situations, such as both parties being too drunk to consent as a lure unilateral male on female rape)

Those issues also fuel other side issues of the group, including the muddy distinction between MRAs and non- activist male groups
