They kinda lost it when they wanted a man-tax lol

[–]Lindenforest 136 points137 points138 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They also wanted to disband the armed forces.

[–]skolopendron 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The level of disconnection from reality is strong with them.

[–]tisseenschande 174 points175 points176 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Good.

Then again Swedish governmets tend to declare themselves Feminist. Or is it just the leftist governments?

[–]meaty_wheelchair 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's both the left and the right here in Sweden.

[–]whatafoolishsquid 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Western governments: identify as feminist, fund atrocities. Feminists: but that's not real feminism!

[–]accidental_me 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

atrocities

What atrocities exactly has the Swedish government funded? Is there any other government that has declared itself feminist?

[–]whatafoolishsquid 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The UN and WHO are funded by western governments and have perpetrated the mass genital mutilation of men and boy children in Africa known as "Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision."

[–]NiceNob 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

UN is also associated with the sebrenica massacre

[–]EviessVeralan 109 points110 points111 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's a great start, gotta keep that trend going though.

[–]Platnium071 points 3 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I wish I saved the link but one of their elected officials responded "good" to a question about domestic abuse against men. I don't remember exactly what the context was but it was bad.

[–]JohnKimble111[S] 37 points38 points39 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That sounds interesting/unsurprising

[–]Prizvyshche 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Drougen 95 points96 points97 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Maybe don't let people with batshit crazy ideals hijack your movement?

[–]JohnKimble111[S] 57 points58 points59 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The party was founded by a Communist. It was completely crazy right from the start.

[–]schmadimax 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Might get downvoted for this but not everyone that identifies as communist is inherently bad. In Austria the city of Graz has had a mayor for years who is part of the KPÖ (Communist party of Austria) and he's actually been making the city a lot better which is also why he keeps getting re-elected, there's good ones and bad ones within every ideology.

[–]Hallitsijan 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nah, it's more that feminist ideology has become so mainstream in Nordic mentality that even the right wing are cucks and it's just that these guys specifically are too much of a single issue extremist political party to be relevant.

[–]Delicious-Tea-6718 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Their ideas where absorbed by the mainstream As well as SD (racists) got their ideas into the main. So there's more of man-hating and xenophobia. So the ideal person in Sweden right now is a white female. Of which I am the opposite. Lol

[–]copeharderhun 11 points12 points13 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't see that happening. Their men have been brainwashed to almost comical degrees.

[–]meaty_wheelchair 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We even have presentations/lectures on "toxic masculinity" and "macho culture" & how they hurt women.

At least it's like that in my high school. It's a STEM focused school, and there's barely any women here in the first place.

Most people in my class don't buy into what they say, which is pretty nice.

[–]1angrydad 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nice, some good news for once.

[–]TachyonPhoenix 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good news

[–]virilealpha 20 points21 points22 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I took a guided tour of the Stockholm city hall recently. The guide had to interject multiple times about women's contribution to its construction(sewing curtains, etc.) and injustices(lack of women Nobel prize winners), while glossing over the fact that of the 8 Million bricks used to construct the building, the majority of the hard labor was done by men. That country is truly pozzed.

Forgot to mention about what they did with the gender quotas in Universities, dismantling them once women started becoming the majority and suing because they weren't selected.

Men create. Women decorate.

Needless to say, the party was founded by a Communist. St one point they had a seat at the EU Parliament, so this really is a wonderful collapse. Furthermore, other leftist parties lost votes too, so it’s not as if this collapse was the result of successes by those with a similarly hateful ideology.

[–]Fearless-File-3625 21 points22 points23 points 3 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Right wing is also feminist infested in Europe. At least the right wing in USA is somewhat anti feminist.

[–]Rob__T 32 points33 points34 points 3 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately being anti feminist is about the only thing you can positively say about the US right wing. And even then it wants to enforce rigid gender roles across the board so even that positive is tainted with shit.

[–]Fearless-File-3625 11 points12 points13 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In last few years, republicans have done much more for custody reforms, child support reforms and due process in college campuses. Democrats are busy finding new ways of setting up Title IX show trial courts on colleges.

[–]JohnKimble111[S] 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I’m actually ok with an ideology that enforces gender roles, just as long as they compensate for any negative aspects of those roles in other policy areas. E.g. if you want to just draft males then that should mean free higher education or tax breaks for all those subject to the draft. Similarly, if mothers are encouraged to raise multiple children then they should be adequately supported while doing so.

[–]Secas_1 12 points13 points14 points 3 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

how about the gov just fucks off and dosnt enforce anything ideologic

[–]LordPooBum 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That would be nice, but in reality our opponents are utilizing government to push their agenda to the fullest. It is only fair that if we're ever in the same position that we return the favor (dismantle feminism and restore some form of balance).

[–]DrOrgasm 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Because that's what a government is for. You could say basic law and order is also ideological in a world where some people are anarchists. Governments serve a purpose and when not hijacked by corporations and banks should act in the interests of the people by providing public services such as health, education, housing and public infrastructure. Supporting families, be they stay at home mothers or fathers, and offering after service supports to people expected to sacrifice everything for the state, is, or at least should be basic shit what we shouldn't even have to ask for.

[–]OnThatSigmaGrindset 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

public services

what if i don't trust the government with my taxpayer money?

[–]DrOrgasm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Elect one that you do trust.

[–]OnThatSigmaGrindset 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

not easy as you might think. whaf if none of the candidates are trustable?

i will not trust any government at all.

[–]DrOrgasm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well then that's a bigger problem, isn't it? The reason you cant trust your government is because they are all paid off by the same corporate interests you do trust with your money. That makes no sense.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah but at what cost…

[–]UnfurtletDawn 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I dunno in my country pretty much no party would align with the feminist rhetorics from the west.

Maybe it's just western europe though. Nah it's definitely just western Europe, never saw any politician talk about feminism in my country.

And even the feminists in my country don't agree with feminism in the west lol.

[–]Zephyr9865 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Which country?

[–]UnfurtletDawn 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Czech Republic

In Central Europe

[–]Zephyr9865 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Spain, France and Germany are feminist infested. That's why I asked.

[–]schmadimax 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Same with Austria, only one party where the leaders say they aren't feminist, bad thing about it is that's the ultra right wing party that also has ties to Neonazis which means as a man with an immigrant father I would never vote for them because they are absolute fucktards that want the immigrants out and even at one point suggested we follow the Brits in leaving the EU.

[–]AbysmalDescent 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

From what I've seen of Sweden, this does not look like it's really a push for equality but rather just more traditionalism. Neither are really looking to support men's rights.

[–]shit-zen-giggles 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They always were a joke. First and foremost, because almost all political parties in Sweden are feminist, since feminism is the inofficial state religion in Sweden.

[–]Centurien022 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, Islam is

[–]vwatchrepair 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's always best when these sort of groups die out on their own.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am not the least bit surprised. The big parties with representation are already feminist, so voting for one with no expectation of representation is like throwing the vote away.

[–]damnthislogin 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This middleeastern enrichment wasnt that bad after all with massrapes....people started to come to their senses finally...

[–]Sarin03 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sweden is always early for these kinds of things.

[–]RockmanXX -4 points-3 points-2 points 3 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Good, i was just thinking about how the Left has been getting a straight thrashing in my country for the last decade. Remember guys, we're not totally powerless. Vote and let the Left know that they can't brazenly support these man hating FemNazis anymore.

EDIT: Aww, boo hoo did i offend some Wokeflakes? Downvoting me still doesn't change the fact that public "Downvoted" all you in the elections lol

[–]schmadimax 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, the public "downvoted" this Swedish party in the elections, the same can't be said for many other countries throughout Northern, Western and Central Europe.

Watch third wavers blame it on the patriarchy.

[–]0nn0 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Technically true, but you are cherrypicking here. That one election saw over 6x the 'normal' amount of votes. (after removing the outliers)

Last election still saw only ~2/19th of their 'normal' results, so there certainly is a decline, but it must be considered in a broader perspective.

BTW, I'm in no way trying to defend this party, but I think we must stay as close to the truth as possible when discussing subjects like these. Sensationalism won't help anyone.
