It’s been many years since my divorce, and it has given me time to heal and get things squared away in my life. Unfortunately, I now find myself in a horrible custody case all these years later. Now I’m in a much better position financially, emotionally, and I have more resources this time around.

And yet, I have found this issue is about as mentally taxing as the divorce. I’ve forgotten the deep depression and anxiety. And the brain fog is amazingly strong. But I’m posting this while I’m going through it for the guys who are going through this for the first time. There comes an end to it eventually and I still look fondly on the years right after my divorce when I was rebuilding and it was calmer. Even though I might have rough days, I know what lies on the other side, and that’s what keeps me going.

So if you’re going through what I am, trust me it can and will get better.
