I don’t think it would be for me either…but what is it about those arrangements that makes you so mad if it’s just other people who are doing it? Can’t you just stay away from people who prefer those types of relationships and find someone monogamous who’s on the same page as you?

Eh, it’s really not for everyone.

It works great for my partners and myself. Monogamy always made me feel trapped. Even when I was wildly in love. I want the freedom to let connections find their own level. And having multiple long term committed relationships is just lovely. It’s been working great for my entire adult life. But yeah, it’s not for everyone.

Idk, MFF threesomes can be fairly dope (there's more administration and unwritten rule following than you'd think though).

I've had short term flings with a few polyamorous chicks. What I've noticed is that there's a lot of indirect word salad that passes for "good communication."

Poly and open relationships are still in the minority even if it's a growing minority. They're not for everyone but can be very healthy for those who do not get jealous (or know how to navigate and manage their jealousy), and who have good communication and scheduling skills.

They still are not nearly as common as monogamous relationships and should be easy to avoid if you don't want to be in one.

All I’m gonna say is in my experience, men love the idea of opening the relationship to other women, until it’s the gf/wife getting most of the attention from them. Then the jealousy comes out.
