Honestly I think you should mention that her and her husband weren't fired only due to the OF account per se, she was fired for having links to it on her public social media, where many of her students followed her, and for using the school's classrooms to make adult content(Reason why her husband was fired as well).

Sure you can't make money in OF if you don't advertise, but they certainly broke the morality clause of their contracts with those actions, apart from producing pornography on a public building, maintained by the district's taxes.

Edit: Plus, if they didn't like the morality clause on their contracts, perhaps jobs subject to public scrutiny such as teachers aren't fit for them. Morality clauses for teachers are not exclusive to the US, and they are far from new or unknown.

Her being fired for having a OF alone isn’t fair. I know we hate sex workers for some odd reason but she’s entitled to have an OF.

BUT, her linking it to her social media accounts knowing she’s reachable online was the irresponsible mistake that lead to her justified termination. It goes against what she signed up for to be an educator; especially for impressionable children. Hopefully she learns from that, tightens up and is still allowed to teach elsewhere.

A. She did a video at the school with a male actor. -this is a no-no and should not have been done, she deserved being fired for this.

B. The male actor was her husband

C. She is a middleschool teacher not an elementary school teacher, small nuance, but accuracy matters

D. Her husband is the elementary school teacher

I can defend a teacher on OF, because teacher pay is shit, and I would rather the teachers at school be luxury prostitutes than actual pedophiles like what worked at my school.

That being said, shooting the video at the school was a bridge too far.

Also, both spouses were fired from their schools, and they won't be able to work in at least that county, if not the entire state. It's a big bridge burned.

If we paid our teachers the wages that a bachelor's degree should demand, we would probably have less degenerate teachers. Anyone in the school system right now either:

Genuinely cares about the children
Too afraid to try for better
Actual degenerates who are trying to work with kids.

We have too many 2's and 3's and not enough 1's. But we'd have more 1's if the job was financially worth doing. Teachers, even the ones who are putting in minimal effort still work 50+ hours a week. And the teachers who are putting their soul into it put in around 80-100 hours a week. I've seen them do it myself I know them personally. The US school system is totally fucked and the teachers are honestly the least of our problems.

I don't have kids but at the moment I wouldn't be okay with sex workers teaching my kids. Same for alcoholics, gambling addicts etc. I think teachers have a lot of influence on kids and even if they can hide these stuff, the way they act/talk is different on some topics. They might show bias without noticing themselves

She’s definitely wrong for this. As a school teacher you should keep your home life private and she could have still had an onlyfans without it being directly associated to her, or even faceless. Onlyfans allows you to still make money as a faceless creator, or as a creator without your real social medias being linked. You can also zone out who you want and not want to see
