Been a viewer here for a while and appreciate everyone’s insight and feedback on this page. I’m just getting started in my journey and am curious if I’m going about this the right way. Together 14 years, married 9 years.

STBXW started having the affair about a year ago with coworker. Heavy drinker, 1-2 bottles of wine per night, documented. Went off her meds for about 9 months until I got her mother involved and now I’m the asshole to her family. Don’t really care about that long term, just funny.

We have two girls 4 and 9, with the 9/f having special needs and wheelchair bound.

STBXW will go into a rage after drinking and trash the house while yelling obscenities at me and the kids. Poor 9yr old can’t talk back but the 4 year old sure can. I have videos of STBXW throwing a vase at me while holding the 4yr old. She has ripped the shirt off of my while holding her, trying to get away and out the front door. Daughter is screaming and traumatized. Video and audio of her trash talking her own daughter, throwing things at me, keeping me from leaving the area, etc. usually doesn’t remember in the morning. Regularly drinking a full bottle of wine before I get home about 4:30, then hiding it in the closet or yard or garage.

On a recent holiday STBXW downed 2 bottles of wine before I got home from work. We took the kids out and she blacked out. Came home and she broke the shutters in a rage, knocked over the wheelchair with daughter in it, gave herself a black eye on the wheel chair, threw pizza across the driveway with kids near by. Full on melt down. All on video from the baby cameras. Didn’t remember any of it in the morning.

I’ve hired a lawyer and plan to file asap. I’m going to ask for exclusive use of property and primary of the girls. Is it too hard to ask for STBXW to go through alcohol and anger therapy?
