Here's the thing, I don't know what life is like as black man and should your life be any different than mine as a white guy NO.

I think that RP MRA movement truly scares feminists and thise in power because men of all races and backgrounds are coming together as just men. We all face the same issues, we are all seen as rapists, violent, useless. Yet here we all are sharing advice our issues with other men. Hopefully we are seeing eachother as just that men, not black not white not brown.

What has feminism done for you as a black man, jack shit. What feminism has done is destroy the black family, lump all black men as dead beat dad's, denined black father's acces to their kids, imprisoned because they missed a child support payment.

In the end they know the answer is “fuck all.” Feminism has become deservedly notorious for many of its early adopters, particularly in America, for quite frankly not giving the slightest shit about black people in general, never mind black men.

Lest we forget the likes of Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, who were appalled by the idea of suffrage being extended to the black populace, despite often being praised for her anti-slavery activism. Not often stated, but anti-slavery and the pro-citizenship abolitionism of Douglass and Brown etc. were NOT one and the same during that time.

It's disgusting to see feminists bashing against black men. I have seen too many feminist women (or even men) attacking black men by using ad hominem. I'm not a black man myself, but I don't want to act like male feminists who will do anything to get approved by women. I do not tolerate any kind of misandry. Do not throw other men under the bus to get female attention. I'm against anti white racism, anti black misandry, and any forms of racism/misandry.

If you really want a strong look at what feminism has done for you as a black man, I would suggest looking up the early pictures of feminist rallies with black women and white women. Note where the white women are standing, in relation to where the black women are. Also note where both women are placed when it comes to these sort of rallies that they would hold.

I know this comes off as a racial divide, but let me state that it is not my intention to address this as a B vs. W thing but those pictures speak VOLUMES even today. Just like most politicians who pander to the black community, we're only useful when they want something.

As a black person? Nothing. Just as feminism may speak for the sex of a black woman but not her ethnicity. Feminism lacks intersectionality. Especially when you consider that white women bare little to no risk in speaking out on social issues. Like, it’s nice I guess but they are some of the most protected people in the US. The amount of times they have easily manipulated situations because of the skin color and sex is telling.

As a man, I believe the original purpose behind feminism was to create equality among the male and female sexes. Misandrist ideals have taken a strong foothold in the movement, however. Equality means equal work, home, and financial opportunities. It also means adequate access to mental health resources, which I understand men are lacking. Honestly feminists don’t see misandry as an issue because they don’t believe it causes any physical harm, which isn’t necessarily true if mental health is leading to high suicide rates, alcoholism, and self-harm. No one is hearing each other because no one is acknowledging that these issue aren’t black and white or male and female. It’s complicated and spouting the same talking points from both sides doesn’t do anything to make real progress for any of us. We need to actually communicate.

I don’t agree with telling men that they have created their own problems and they are at fault for the current predicament when men grew up being taught that this is how they were supposed to behave and process things. I also don’t agree with the posts that say feminists should be leading their movements for them so that they can jump onboard afterwards because we all know that getting a movement up and running is the most difficult part.

Men need the tools for the new societal standards we have entered and while feminists don’t need to start that for them, they can atleast acknowledge that it’s not easy and show support instead of ridicule. You can’t sit here and say that we are all victims of the patriarchy and then victim-blame. As much as neither side wants to do it, if we want things to actually change, we are going to have to see each other as people and work together.
