When it comes to giving dating advice, men often say "you don't as a fish how to catch a fish, you ask the fisherman" basically saying men should ask other men for advice instead of women. I can definitely see that perception because it's like having an apple on top of your head, you can't see it but others can so you think you know how a guy would get you but you can't see how you actually fall for love others.

I don't understand why these same men who say "you don't ask a fish how to catch a fish, you ask the fisherman" feel like it's their place to tell women how to get men to marry.

There seem to be a lot more male dating coaches for women than vice versa and more dating books by men for women like Why Men Love Bitches or Think Like a Lady but Act Like a Man which is fine but it seems red-pilled guys love giving unsolicited and pretentious advice.

They love saying things like "marry in your 20s" even though young (and older men at times) don't want to settle down yet, or "just be a good mother" even though all women don't want to be or shouldn't be moms, and "education means nothing to men" as if women get Phds to impress men. Then they also turn around and condemn women's other female friends for giving dating advice as if they don't have an outside perspective on it as well.

I guess another reason why women take advice from men is because women are actively going to these men hence why Kevin Samuels and Steve Harvey gave advice to willing women despite them both being divorced. Personally, I would much rather go to a woman who has multiple men begging her to marry her and knows how to wrap them around her finger than a jaded man who thinks marriage is a soul sucking trap.

So what's up with that? Why the hell should women be told how to get a man to marry by men who tell other men marriage is a trap?
