It depends on the specific state laws regarding legal parenthood. In some states, any children putatively concieved during the marriage are automatically presumptively legally the husband's child.

I've always kinda wanted to see a dude knock up his mistress and then go after his (ex)wife for child support under these laws and the 14th amendment.

Anyway, /r/legaladvice may be of help, but without knowing what state's code and caselaw to look at, there not much to be said.

He needs to contest the paternity using whatever the procedure is in his state. I highly recommend a lawyer for this.

Legal advice is essential, depending on where you live there can be very different laws concerning whether you are allowed to obtain a paternity test without the woman's consent. Even the outcome of having proof from a paternity test varies from country to country.

Your friend needs to, in this order, delete all his social media and then talk to a lawyer. No matter how fucked up or angry he gets: Keep his mouth shut. If a lawyer says otherwise, get a new lawyer. Don't fuck around with this stuff.

Initiate divorce and don't sign any papers regarding paternity or pay for anything that might be considered "for the child".

He has to establish to a court that this marriage is over and he wants nothing to do with a sprog that isn't his.

Just FYI - being on TRT doesn't preclude you from being able to impregnate someone. Lots of guys have reported getting their partners pregnant while being on TRT.
