Some years ago I made a post asking the reddit whether female victims of female perpetrators of abuse and rape should be covered by the mens rights movement, as the excuse that they should "take it up with the feminists" wasn't any good.

Happily, the reddit was firm on the idea of being exhaustive in our discussion of these issues, adhering to a comprehensive and truly neutral set of demands that would cover female victims of female perpetrators, etc, but concluded that we were not equipped to provide support other than that.

I can accept that's still the case from within the MRM, but the lack of WRA discourse and activity is a problem for those women, and also presents a strategic problem for the MRM and men.

I think more effort needs to be made to grow a WRM as an ally to the MRM and to generate similar levels of activity critical to feminism and advocating for ALL women and their rights, for the sake of those women it's obvious what the benefit would be, but also because it would undermine the feminist movements claimed monopoly on assisting women. Imagine the scenario where a feminist mob turns up to protest rape, and is solely focused with male perpetration as is typical for them. We would do well to counter-protest in a holistic manner, with MRAs and WRAs rather than merely MRAs, and to equip female victims of female perpetrators with megaphones, just to drive the point home on the inadequacy of feminism.

We can then push the idea that a feminist is concerned with male perpetrators, and a WRA is concerned with women victims. Which is factually accurate. Presented with this dichotomy and upholding it routinely will either force feminists to change their tune, toning down the misandry blitzes they push in the media and achieving something for women victims of women perpetrators, or will continuously undermine their movement and its claims. The lie that feminism cares about women can be exposed more fully if there is something to contrast it to. And if they aren't truly concerned with helping women, what are they concerned with? Hating men.

We know this, but many of the women who fall under the sway of the feminist hate movement may not, and providing an alternative right in front of their faces will do better for us deconverting them than merely arguing against them as MRAs. I'd argue that whenever MRAs turn up to a place or do a thing, we should try to ensure at least some present act as WRAs for the event. This also neutralizes criticism of our movement as "The same" as feminism.

There may be a temptation to say that the MRM isn't for that, but if it's effective, then what's the problem? It's something to consider and debate at least.
