More recently, I was thinking of this notion "do not touch a girl", well in my culture girls are highly regarded (oddly, she seems Indian - I could be wrong), but I used to think that was an acceptable position to have. I have learned over time, that we have brainwashed these women at every corner especially in my culture.

Why would I, as a man, pick a fight with Igor the Giant? I would be stupid to do that. But a women, she has been told that she can hit with impunity.

The problem is, as with many archaic traditions like paying for dates (separate discussion) is that these traditions were in a different era with different social norms. I don't believe women used to be as aggressive thus, hitting them unjustifiably was a reasonable position. But now things have shifted - you seem women with more aggression.

To quote (and paraphrase) Whoopi Goldberg, "teach woman not to hit anybody, period". We as men over decades know, not to hit women.
